Decided to go here before heading into Cambridge for a play. Myself and two friends. The fish & chips was atrocious. I couldn't eat it. The absolute worst Fish and Chips I'd ever been served. The batter was thick and full of oil. The fish (if that's even what it was) had no taste (maybe an oil taste) and the texture was horrid. I left the whole thing, and ate when I got home from the play. I can't believe they served this to paying customers. I've had Fish and Chips at Town Tavern and its wonderful. Should have gone there as usual. I'd advise sticking to burgers at Mentomy. I'm still mad about it, not just for the cost of the meal, but for how extremely bad it was. Inedible.

The service/staff are EXCELLENT, but the food was on the 'Chili's, Applebee's, etc' end of the spectrum... not terrible, but not what I expected. The 2 items in particular that we were 'meh' but should be hard to get wrong were the fries and brussel sprouts... both were on the mushy end of the spectrum rather than crispy. Would I eat here again if I was in a pinch, for sure... will I go out of my way, no.

Was looking for a nice Irish corned beef special and I struck luck finding this place. The special was delicious. The service was friendly and great. They had Irish music playing and a very nice crowd. Will definitely come back.

I had an old gift certificate. It was a different gift card system. It was still recognized by Menotomy Grill management. I apologized for the late usageI got the Cod cakes with homemade baked beans and Coleslaw. It was out of this world. ( Delicious)It was a nice atmosphere with nice music.I would strongly recommend Menotomy Grill.??

Menotomy Grill & Tavern recently catered an event for us and it was unbelievable! Tom helped me the whole way and I barely had to do a thing. He made it so easy! The set up, tables, service, etc. was beautiful. The food was delicious and plenty of it! The two young women that helped set up and serve were also so helpful and attentive. I couldn't recommend them more highly for their catering!

This place has the best salmon burger I’ve ever tried. They seated us quickly on a busy Saturday night. The server was super friendly. It wasn’t too loud! We will definitely come here again! Solid local tavern.

My partner and I went there for dinner tonight, February 9th around 5:00 p.m.. It was the first time we had been there. It was very nice. Very good atmosphere, very good service and our server John gave us excellent service at our table. We were seated next to the fireplace and unfortunately the fire went out but we did enjoy the overall atmosphere of the place. I really would recommend this place and definitely will go back. Very clean, very bright and very alive with conversation and a very nice all ages crowd. The food was excellent and well worth the trip and price.
