Best meal I’ve had in a restaurant in recent memory (and we eat out A LOT). These guys are super passionate and it comes through on the plate. The braised lamb pizza was mind blowingly delicious. If you like food you must go. You must.

This is one of our favorite restaurants! The food and service are fantastic. Dan, John & Tony bring it every time - they are the A-Team! Last night we tried the “Meaty” Mushrooms and it was excellent! Mixed Fat Moon mushrooms, miso-roasted gilfeather turnips, herb-butter pan sauce, parsnip puree, crispy onion. I am a lover of wild mushrooms, and this dish is one of the best I’ve had. I love how they use farm fresh foods and change up their menu accordingly.

Dan and John serve up some truly incredible food. The pizza is some of the best I've ever had, and the apps and entrees are innovative and delicious. We're so happy to have them in the neighborhood.

Easily the best restaurant in Arlington, one of the best restaurants in the state without question. Don't be fooled (instead be charmed!) by the casual vibes, how you seat yourself and order at the counter. Prep neighborhood kitchen is simply top notch food. It is also as committed to farm-to-table as anywhere I've ever eaten but they don't make a show of it- they just make fresh, surprising and delightful food with local ingredients, over and over again. Their beer and wine program is also excellent and creative.I've eaten at some superb restaurants, Michelin stars and so on. This is something different, special and in many ways more exciting than most of those. Also: they are super nice folks. Go have dinner!Vegetarian options: Lots of great veggie stuff, but also very flexible with veggie substitutions even if a menu item has meat.Dietary restrictions: Especially if you call in advance they can accommodate most anything.

Hands down my favorite restaurant when I'm craving fresh pasta, pizza, salads, and more. Everything on the menu is made from scratch, and it really makes a difference. I love how the menu is always updating and the dishes all seem to have a story behind them. Also, the wine and beer selection is unique and it's easy to find a pairing with your food. Be careful with the sourdough focaccia, it's easy to eat an entire portion on your own. 14/10 rating.

Fantastic food, great service, locally sourced high quality ingredients! There's a clear passion for good food in everything I've tried here that kept me coming back. This place is a hidden gem and easily the best food you can get in all of Arlington. If you're a local you owe it to yourself to try it out and if you're just passing through, I can't think of anywhere else I'd pay to eat in the Heights or even all of Arlington.

So happy to be introduced to this dining spot. Food was Amazing as was service in a casual relaxed setting. Pizza seems to be the main star but there are definitely abundant options.Fresh, delicious natural! We had 2 salads a kale Caesar & golden beet and feta paired with OG mushroom pizza - my mouth is watering just writing this review ..one bite of the salads and knew it was going to be a great food night. Oh yea, the pizza did not disappoint. If you have not been, do yourself a favor and give it a try. Already thinking what I'll be eating next time.

So exciting to discover another good restaurant close by! I wanted to give this small, unassuming neighborhood place a boost, but I see they already have lots of great reviews. Nevertheless...I had the most delicious panini I've ever had: prosciutto and burrata with tomato jam and pesto on house made focaccia. My friends shared the OG mushroom pizza with a side of broccolini.I could seriously eat here several nights a week. Everything is made from scratch, and the menu changes often. And the service was friendly and attentive. Our waiter,Tony, was a friend of the chefs, so this place had a homey feeling as well. And although it was busy when we arrived, we were able to hear each other without yelling across the table, a real plus since so many restaurants have no background noise moderating design.

This place may look like a hole in the wall from the outside, but DON’T BE FOOLED!!! The food is literally gourmet, and they are very easy and creative about modifying what is on the menu. I think it’s a two-person show, and I can’t decide which of the two guys is sweeter than the other. Even though it is far from fancy, I gave five stars for atmosphere because it is totally comfortable to sit and eat and gab for as long as you want, and feel quite welcome to do so. Don’t miss it-it is not you’re parents pizza place!
