Had the best birthday dinner with my family last night! The tuna is amazing. The chef is able to accommodate allergies- such as gluten and dairy. The short rib is always incredible. Highly recommend.
First time at the restaurant. Early reservation but still plenty of fellow diners. Service was excellent, hostess, server and runners all top notch. We sampled four dishes; potstickers and striped bass were excellent. Feta brûle salad had the potential to be excellent but too much going on. Menu doesn’t mention pesto or sun-dried tomatoes. Could do without, IMHO. Torched feta was fabulous. Baked mussels were very fresh. A bit dry but good. I will go back. Next time, steak...
Scutra is one of our family's all-time favorite restaurants. We went Saturday night in honor of our sister-in-law who had just passed away two days before. Didier's excellent food (fried artichoke hearts and super tender hanger steak for me), Cid's warm embrace, and Louie's charm made for the best evening possible remembering our beloved Ann. Can't recommend Scutra highly enough!
