The food was delicious and authentic. However, many inexperienced travelers would find the portions here small compared to the Americanized versions of sushi. Secondly, the place is small and service is slow which can lead to longer wait time. Still I give full admiration to the chef and owner in giving his very best daily for his patrons to enjoy authentic Japanese food. Thank you, Chef!
This is my second visit. Overall, the first experience was great, but this time there was a strong dish soap smell in our maki roll. It seems like the rice may have been prepared or placed in a container with soap residue. Unfortunately, it really affected the taste of the whole dish. I hope this doesn’t happen again.
