Wonderful dining experience. The burger was overdone even though I requested medium rare. It's made with as blend of meat. I say go back to pure grass fed beef and let the juices fliw.
Our waitress was insensitive and lacked communication skills when it came to a severe food allergy that I have. When I told her I had a severe allergy, her response was “Beautiful” I was not sure if she understood what I was telling her. Needing an epipen is far from beautiful. Then she came out and said Cross contamination was a no go. I didn't understand what she meant and asked if I needed to order some other food and she said no. Then she brought out chips and guac and put the chips in front of me by my water glass and explained how they were cross contaminated with the exact shellfish I am severely allergic to. She was very unaware and it made for a nervous dining experience for me because I was not clear on if my food was safe to eat or not.
Loved the 1/2 and 1/2 for brunch: small kale/brussel salad with Eggs Benedict. Perfect and light combination. Thank you for putting the two of them together!
Tryst never disappoints. The food is delicious and nicely presented. The menu has something for everyone. Staff have always been welcoming and efficient, but lately the servers have been exceptionally delightful and caring.
We went to Tryst on a Sunday. It is fairly quiet. Nevertheless, the food and service are great. They have a good wine selection and the wait staff are efficient and attentive. The food is of good portion and very tasty. Will most certainly return.
Food quality was disappointing-especially Bell & Evan's chicken entrees we ordered Not as flavorful; portion size was reduced from previous times ordered Risotto was average Also ordered side of sauted Broccoli Rabe for app but was served regular broccoli over some cream It was good enough but not what we ordered
Free jazz on Thursday night. How can you go wrong. The food was delicious, but our waiter was humorless and inattentive. Still gave them 4 stars for service because the rest of the team took care of us when our waiter was ignoring us.
Nice atmosphere, excellent service, wide variety, and good (sometimes great) food are all the reasons we continue to return to Tryst. Even unassuming choices, like the burger, are always delicious. The grilled cheese with truffled mushroom pate ("Bikini Sandwich") is a brilliant take on a classic. The salads are always fresh and interesting. The mixologists know what they are doing, and the wait staff is always cheerful, friendly, and helpful.
Very good brunch. Very accommodating for food sensitivities.
Good food, good service, nice ambiance. Tables mostly full, but not too crowded. Had a very nice Rhone wine on the Specials menu.

I absolutely love tryst, our waitress Anna was incredible, the food was delicious and I just love the atmosphere. I highly recommend eating at tryst.
Portions are small and very expensive . Food nothing to write home about. Service was bad (wrong drinks, dropped tray, etc). Four ppl, two glasses of wine, one vodka cocktail and one beer, two salads and two small flat breads) for $225. It is a rip off.
Lovely neighborhood restaurant. We went on a quiet night. Food was ok and well cooked. Waiter was very kind
Our server Sylvia was outstanding! She was personable, attentive, and you could tell that she loved working there. Our food was great too. Good price, portion and quality. We will be back.
Really cute place. Brunch menu was great, we had a hard time choosing because a lot of it sounded amazing. Interesting cocktails. Great service.
