My boyfriend and I had a lovely dinner here the other night. Service was very good and we really enjoyed the food. We had the chicken sausage flatbread, kale and Brussels sprout salad, and singer salmon with drinks. The setting of the restaurant was tasteful overall. I do think a big plant or plant box divider or something by the entrance could help the center tables nearest the doorway not feel like they're floating. Aside from that we had a wonderful time. My only reservation is that the prices were really high.

Fantastic service with flavorful and perfectly cooked food. Don't pass on the chocolate bread pudding. The bourbon steak tips and schnitzel pork loin were both excellent.

Apps were delicious, especially the cheesy tater tots and the chocolate layer cake was amazing! Cool atmosphere for a fun night out. Highly recommend!

We went for brunch with family. They ran out of coffee so we had to wait for coffee to be made. This took a long time. No refills were offered. The food took over an hour. Omelets, burger, etc. The dishes were all bland. No one came back to check on us. No salt and pepper on the table so I went looking at other tables. We were all so hungry that we just wanted to eat and leave. The restaurant was not busy at all. Maybe they were short staffed in the kitchen.I've been here several times for dinner in the past. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

Excellent service and good wine/food choices at reasonable prices. We were stuck in horrible traffic and they were so nice when I called to say we'd be up to 20 minutes late. Fortunately it was only 10 and I was so happy to be seated right away.

First time here, came with a friend who knew it. Has the chicken sausage flatbread, which was flavorful and easy to share. The cheesy tater tots were also good. They were not traditional, more like fried mashed potato logs with cheese in them. The best was the burger. Loved the flavor and it was juicy. I added bacon which was perfectly cooked!

We went for a casual Friday night dinner. Excellent service - cocktails were great. We each got the shrimp taco - delicious the. Had pasta entrees that were very good. Overall great experience

Beautiful restaurant, I would have preferred their full menu instead of a prefix Valentines menu. Drinks were great. Nice lighting and atmosphere. A little pricey. Great service, thank you to our waitress Anna, she was very sweet and sociable which I like.

Fun upscale neighborhood place with good food and casual atmosphere. Had lunch here and greatly enjoyed the homemade hash, asparagus tart and mushroom omlette. Only thing that was not excellent was the flight of 4 mimosas. The strawberry-lemoncello was great, the cranberry-lime was good, but somehow the others fell flat. Our 100% clean plates highly recommend the food and service for brunch.

My besties surprised me for a milestone birthday with dinner at Tryst. I've been many times before and Tryst did not disappoint. I started with a signature cocktail, I've forgotten the name but it was a fruity (peach maybe?) something served in a martini glass, very tasty. My companions had sauvignon blanc and prosecco, not a dissatisfied person in the bunch. Two of us had the burger which doesn't sound very exciting but if there's a better burger elsewhere I have yet to find it, it's my go-to, and Tryst made it exactly to my order (medium rare), Truffle fries topped the burger off nicely. Others had the salmon and the Crispy Pork Tenderloin Schnitzel which they proclaimed a success. I was brought a dessert with a candle, kudos to Tryst, and since I didn't see the bill not sure if it was gratis or not but I hope it was as it's a nice touch, note to restaurateurs! Tryst has a nice neighborhood vibe, informal but not too. The tables are set far enough apart that you're not finishing your neighbors' sentences. The greeters and wait staff were pleasant and accommodating; thanks to Matthew for making our evening effortless!

We had an early reservation to beat the rush and were a bit shocked to spend over $300 (with tip) for a meal of chicken, salad, dessert and 4 glasses of wine, because the bottle was not available. The service and food were OUTSTANDING, though the prefixed menu added extra $$ for certain dishes. We are regulars at Tryst, but must admit, it was a disappointment.

Food was excellent. Server was great. It's not noisy. Of course it was a Sunday evening. Don't like the 4% “administrative” charge. But many restaurants are doing that these days. Nickel and diming, like the airlines. Can't subtract it from the tip because it's not the server's fault. Otherwise I can recommend it. It is pricey.

We were there for brunch. Nice space; not noisy, even though we were seated next to a party of ten exchanging Xmas gifts. The menu had a nice variety of items, some familiar, some unique. We all ordered omelets, and they were so beautiful it seemed a shame to devour them. We spent some time trying to get our happy, enthusiastic server, Grace, to ask the chef his secret for producing such smooth, fluffy, pleasing dishes. No dice, but we left happy and with a new go-to place to dine in the Arlington area.
