Great authentic pub. Staff are friendly. Food is quite good Especially like the Lamp Sheppard's Pie, Pub Burger, and the Smoked Salmon BLT. The garlic shrimp appetizer is also great. Good selection of craft beers on tap.
If you like historic homes, this place is right up your alley. Beautifully preserved and well appointed, the fireplace was warming guests in one of the dining rooms. Being a Saturday evening, it was bustling and we'd wisely made reservations. I arrived early and our waitress was more than accommodating. We visited Stone's Public House for a small 70TH birthday dinner, and had a great experience! Food and drinks were great, server was attentive and personable and the environment was quaint, and cozy. There was a pretty full restaurant on a Sunday late afternoon, but noise was moderate and we had no trouble enjoying conversation at the table. Overall I'd highly recommend Stone's Public House!
