Good food options, nice if you need a place for a meet or a place to work. Plenty of outlets for laptops. I find a better experience ordering through the app as you see your options better and can customize easily. Restrooms are usually clean.
I enjoy going to the Starbucks in Athol because it’s a great place to study and relax with a cup of coffee. In the summer, I also love sitting on the patio with my puppy(and of course with a puppuccino), and the drinks are always good. One barista, Daniella, is especially wonderful. The Starbucks Coffee Company restaurant receives mixed reviews. The Athol location is described as a great place to study and relax with a cup of coffee, with a patio for sitting with a puppy and a puppuccino. One barista is especially wonderful, always friendly, smiling, and incredibly helpful. This location is called the highest-rated Starbucks in the area, with exceptionally friendly, efficient, and accurate staff, making it a top recommendation. However, other experiences are negative. At some locations, a barista made no effort to ask how your day was, and a drink with 4 shots of expresso had shots run down the outside. The price for the same drink is not charged the same at each location, ranging from $11.85 to $15.08. The evening crew looked miserable and made drinks wrong, with light ice meaning 3 scoops. Ordering on the app results in the wrong flavor or size, and a latte was found a third empty, not a cappuccino. This location is notorious for not filling the drink, with over an inch less of product, and excuses like "the can it comes in is only 12 ounces." The drink was nearly $7 and a summer promo drink.
