My husband and I went here on a whim last weekend for breakfast on our way to Capron Zoo. We were the only people in the entire restaurant at 10:30 AM on a Sunday morning. The menu is pretty limited and heavy in Portuguese cuisine.

If you're looking for a simple breakfast sandwich, you're in luck, they do have those. My husband and I both got a breakfast sandwich and a side of home fries. I had a sausage, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. The bagel came lightly toasted, so it was still quite bready and came with standard American cheese. I would rate the sandwich at 6/10. I would come back for it over making it myself at home.

The home fries were very flavorful but greasy. They were well seasoned and was full of finely diced green, red, and yellow bell peppers. If they were a little crispier, I'd give them a 10/10 but they way they were served, I'd rate them an 8/10.

The decor inside leaned towards the breakfast/coffee esthetic but it was tastefully done. The music was on the loud side. Even though we were the only patrons inside, the service was lackluster. My husband didn't get offered a coffee refill. I drank water and was given a bottle and a glass full of ice, which was nice. I did not look at my receipt to know if I was charged for the water though. On the plus side, we were offered to sit down at a table and he came and brought us the menus (I had been looking at it at the counter). The downside of being ushered to a table was that the pastries aren't on the menu and you can only see them from the case. Once I was seated, I forgot all about them until I paid at the counter.

Would I go back? Probably not unless I was in the immediate area.

Stopped in for lunch and got the Bifana sandwich, it was so good! The meat was seasoned very well and the Portuguese roll was so soft and fresh. They said they make their own rolls! Would definitely go back to try other dishes!

Omg! I was very impressed with breakfast. The food was delicious and the service was super good. Before they bring my order I was served a fresh bread (made by the owner)with butter and coffee. My order was catchupa and two eggs no complaints. It fill me up and I had to skip my dinner lol. They don't charge too much. I recommend everyone to try this place you are not going to regret it. Now is my favorite place. I can't wait to go back there, it's worth!

I ordered the fried cachupa with linguica and fried egg and it was incredibly delicious and satisfying. I also purchased the Portuguese bread, cheese, empanadas, and a couple of different bakery items. The beef and cheese empanada was perfectly seasoned. I am looking forward to trying the rest of the items I ordered. The service was impeccable and the employees were quite friendly. Go in and try to the food for yourself. You won’t regret it!!
