Not sure if the ownership changed, but I totally agree with the previous comment. This place used to have such a cute, cozy, and aesthetic vibe inside. It was clean and well maintained and now they seem to be in the process of adding merchandise and their own “flair” (board games, plushies, anime vibes). Maybe it will get better once they settled in, but it’s a stark contrast to what was there before. The boba was still pretty good but even the menu was less robust than...
I’ve been coming to kimochi for a while and it’s always so so yummy :) the staff are always kind and helpful and have delicious recommendations. I like the variety of options as well.
Received a rude comment from an employee about it being my fault that my rewards points were gone (they switched providers, the reason it was “my fault” was just cause I should have used them sooner). Employee generally seemed fed up. During previous visits, the ice cream machine hasn’t worked. I love kimochi and employees are generally very nice though
