Not my first time here. Everything has always been fine. This time I was served a fajita wrap that was just mush. I picked it up and it just fell apart. Sopping wet.
I took a couple of bites of the filling and it was not good to me.
I rarely send food back but did this time.
I told the waiter I did not want the meal. He offered for something else and I declined. I didn't have time on my lunch break.
When the check came he didn't comp the uneaten meal. Started in with the BS. You ate half of it.. I offered something else..bla bla...in my life any time you send back food you don't want you take it off the bill. Especially if you send back 80 percent of it.
I walked out once the waiter got belligerent and was escalating the situation. The bill was paid by the friend I was with and I paid him back in the parking lot.
I know nobody in the place will see this review and I really don't care.
Needless to say I won't be back.
Be aware if you're not happy with your dish you will still be paying for it.

We’ve been going to Papagallo since they opened. The food is fantastic, the servers are great, the chef is incredibly creative and it is a locally owned family business. You gotta try it! It’s a gem!!!!

A hidden gem in Attleboro. I’ve been here many times and tried a bunch of things on the menu - I’ve never had a bad meal. Everyone working there is always welcoming, kind, and accommodating. Their sangria and espresso martinis are amazing. I recommend this restaurant to everyone I know who is looking for a great experience 🙂

Our favorite all time restaurant. I am amazed that there are any bad reviews for Papagallos. The owner and staff are like family to us and I have never had a bad meal. Cocktails are incredible!

Has many different cuisines covered to suit everyone. The food I got was tasty, but some of the other people at our table didn't feel the food was as great as it used to be. The service was much worse than it used to be.

From the moment we arrived the service left much to be desired. The waiter greeted us with indifference and a visible lack of enthusiasm. We asked in the beginning to separate the check into 4 and was told they would not do it. The place had no one besides our table and a couple that the bartender was entertaining. In 2025, learn to split a check especially when you have no one to serve.

We almost walked out, but decided to stay hoping things might improve. Unfortunately, they didn’t. The waiter was not only curt and unwelcoming, but even slammed some dishes in front of us. There was no effort to walk around the table and gather/place dishes, but rather expected more out of us. He seemed to be in a rush to routinely sit at the bar on his phone for extended periods. I sat for 10 minutes with an empty glass of water. No offense, but I'm not hailing a server who is next to me with no customers to get a refill. My meal was the Mofongo which was delicious. However, the service has made me decide I won't be back dining in. Perhaps I'll order take out to save on top and bad service. But I'd recommend going elsewhere.

We went for dinner my husband had the Papagallo Burger which was very tasty he said, and cooked perfectly. I enjoy the consistency of delicious quality food. We also had the beef tacos which were especially delicious as an appetiser, and also smaller bitecsize individual- really great with the guacamole, diced tomatoes, lettuce, sour creme. yum. I had a special pasta with beef and spinach, excellent flavour, the house salad with house dressing is also delicious ! Red Sangria was fruity and delicious. We will be back.

My hamburger was great. Some of my party ordered meats and they were bland. Pizza was good. Salad pretty good.
Wish they had a place to put my purse in the bathroom though!! A hook or something is needed.

While passing through on a road trip, we made a brief stop at this restaurant, encouraged by its favorable Google reviews. It was early in the day and the place was completely empty—a quiet setting that we hoped would translate into a pleasant, relaxed experience.

From the moment we arrived, however, the service left much to be desired. The waiter greeted us with indifference and a visible lack of enthusiasm. Still, we chose to stay, hoping things might improve. Unfortunately, they didn’t. The waiter was not only curt and unwelcoming, but routinely vanished into the back for extended periods, making even the simplest requests—like a glass of water—feel like impositions.

To make matters worse, within hours of our visit, we both began to feel unwell—raising serious concerns about the food quality. Whether due to poor hygiene or food handling, the aftermath of our meal was deeply unpleasant.

Given the combination of poor service and what appears to be food poisoning, we cannot, in good conscience, recommend this establishment. A truly disappointing experience.

Highly upset. I used to eat from this place alllll the time. I haven't been in a couple years so decided to give them a try today. I will never ever order food from here again. We ordered porkchop and pollo asado with white rice and beans. The beans were flavorless, the rice was undercooked, was not cooked thoroughly. The porkchop and chicken had no flavor at all as well. I used to get the porkchop plate as it was my favorite but this place definitely is not the same and definitely not authentic puerto rican dishes. Would avoid the word authentic.
