My wife and I frequently go here for dinner. We never get a bad meal and the service absolutely fantastic. If you ever get seated in Melanie section, consider yourself blessed. She is wonderful, attentive, and is always pleasant and friendly. If she is on ask for her you will not be disappointed believe me. She deserves a raise in my opinion.... And my wife shares the same opinion..... If you haven't been to tavern in the square do yourself a favor and treat yourself to an absolutely wonderful experience with wonderful service, fantastic food (The chef's in the kitchen help need a raise too) that is very affordable. You'll be glad you did.

Food was very good, BUT cost was very high. I had grilled chicken Mac & cheese and water with lemon to drink . Hubby had strip steak and a beer. Cost was $75 before the tip. Beer was $12. Only negative about the restaurant was the cost. Mac & cheese was FANTASTIC!! Steak was also very good.

The food was tasty however , my mash potatoes were cold, not even luke warm. Cold! I'm not one to send food back therefore I packed it to go. It was disappointing considering the pricing. 2 dishes and 2 drinks just about $130 and I was served Cold food.. I will never spend my money here again.

Stopped in for a quick, light meal. Great looking menu, wish I had chosen better. Selected the quesadilla and it was a sloppy, wet mess, with chewy chicken. My partner chose better with delicious sweet potato fries.

Fish tacos should be off the menu. Barely could find the fish ! Pepper shaker / grinder with no pepper coming out. Waitress says that’s been a problem ??? Barely checked on our table. Appears to be geared towards hamburgers only, Only steak on the menu was well over $30 ! Paying for large TVs and atmosphere

Doing an errand in the area in the evening, and asked where we could go to eat? Jamie, at XSpot Archery, recommend Tavern on the Square, and it did not disappoint!! Best chicken fingers ever! And my Mesquite chicken bowl was fab. Huge place with plenty of seating options, booths, bar area with sports monitors set up for easy viewing of multiple events. Friendly staff. Easy atmosphere. A bit loud because of the cavernous room, but highly recommend this place. It was superb.
