I was there with a friend on August 25. Friend ordered teriyaki chicken and asked if she could substitute fried rice for white rice. Was told they don't serve fried rice. Okay, we'll go with white rice. Teriyaki chicken was presented beautifully, but was dry as dirt. I ordered bone in bbq spare ribs. Again presentation was beautiful, but completely inedible. Waitress asked how the meal was. When told about the dry chicken, she told us that is how chicken is served because it has to be cooked well done. Never again. Avoid this place like the plague.

Bamboo Hyannis location has been a favorite of ours since opening. Eric the manager since the start keeps the facility up to par with great food and a dedicated staff. Wife and I decided to celebrate birthday with a number of small dishes and a few entrees. all were fresh and delicious including soft shell crab, house lo mien, shanghai roast duck. sauteed string beans. No sushi this visit . Went Monday night a little after 6PM.

Takes reservation for dinner Big indoor seating, no outdoor seating Elaborate pan Asian cuisine Lunch Buffet Mon-Fri 11.30-2 Sunday 11.30-2.30 excluding holidays Sunday dinner buffet 5-8 PM Lavish sushi bar Food is really good and tasty. Vegetable Tempura, Shao-Mai {Steamed egg flour dumplings}, Kung Pao Chicken, Garlic Chicken, Hunan Chicken are recommended. Avoid Sweet and Sour Chicken. Japanese beer available. We went to this restaurant twice. First visit was at 7.30 PM for dinner. Everything was good and the service was excellent. Another time, we reached at 8.30 PM and the service was very chaotic. Main dishes were served before the starters and wait staff was pushing us to hurry up orders and so this visit was not very comfortable although the food was good. On enquiry with the manager, we were told that since the entire staff including the chef have to leave by 9.30 PM, one should come early for a better service.

Two couples arrived on an August Sat night at 8:00. One in our party craved sushi. Not being familiar with Hyannis, I searched “Asian restaurants in Hyannis that serve sushi.” Bamboo showed up and we were very close by so we stopped. The person who wanted sushi was told by the waitress that it would be aporox 1 hour to get sushi, even though we noticed three men working at the sushi area. I ordered chicken lo main. It was the worst I have ever eaten. There were lots of noodles and only five minuscule pieces of chicken in the plate, along with a couple of pieces of scallion. That was it! The person who initially wanted sushi, but didn’t want to wait an hour, ordered a salad which was DRENCHED in salad dressing. The waitress was nice and obviously very busy (? Short staffed), but the food was lousy and we won’t eat there again, hence this negative review.

Can’t believe the waitress told us tip isn’t enough. Waitress named Amy provided horrible service and at the end of our 40 mins dinner she made a scene front of everyone why we only leave $20 tip???? Shame!!!!

The manager at this establishment was rude while checking us in. But our server was very nice. The food itself was good and we liked the options on the Menu

Food was actually pretty good. Too bad they don't have the buffets anymore.

Several different types of Asian cuisine offered. Food we got was GREAT. Definitely not cheap, but you get what you pay for. We had to take boxes because of the generous portion sizes. Very nice place.

Great and delicious selection of sushi and food. Both appetizers we tried were amazing and sushi is made with fresh and delicious seafood. Strongly recommend for Cape Cod visitors!

This is the nicest Chinese restaurant that I've ever been too. The sushi and Chinese food are both very good. Highly recommended.

Tried Yuen-Yang Spicy BeefIn A Hot Pepper Sauce On A Bed Of String Beans$16.95Too spicy for me. The dish had more jalapenos than it did string beans. However. The beef was extremely flavorful and tender.

All our meals were disgusting. Been going to Bamboo since it opened. This was the last time. The food was just awful!! Called to see what happened and the staff was rude and not helpful. Never again will we go back. People must just go to Bamboo for cocktails because it has really gone downhill!!!
