“My wife recently threw me a surprise birthday party here. From my end, it was amazing! The venue had enough room for about 60 guests and a 6 piece band. Funktapuss. Everything went so smooth from the initial surprise reveal to the food and bar service. The kitchen did an amazing job serving everyone with hot food and everyone I spoke with said their meal was delicious. I had the flat iron steak. It was cooked perfectly and was delicious! The bartender did a great job of keeping everyone happy. I have attached a couple photos. I would highly recommend The West End for a special occasion. My wife told me everyone was very helpful, especially Carolyn.”

“The food is always great! Highly recommend. Its my favorite place to eat in Hyannis. My teeny tiny issue is the schedule is not consistent. Ive gone 3 times when it was supposed to be open to find it closed. One time I waited until 11:30am on a Friday. The sign on windows said 11am. Either way, I'll be back 😊”

“Went to the Dolphin Restaurant on 02/12/22. Had 6:30 reservations and was told they still haven't seated all of the 6:00 reservetions yet. The place was packed, you could hardly move. The wait staff that wasn't wearing masks,were having a hard time getting to the tables to serve. Good thing the fire dept. didn't come in, as I am sure they were way over capacity. So we waited close to an hour and were asked if we would consider sitting at a high top, we agreed. So after waiting another 15 -20 minutes for the bartender to take our order. He brought our drinks, I said "we are ready to order" The bartender said I'll be right back. He proceeded to go help bring in the equipment for the band who were setting up 8 - 10 feet accross from our table. At this point I flaged him down asked him how much for the drinks and left. I have celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, Valentines Day at the Dolphin for years. I will never return! They pissed a lot of people off for their way over booking. We just weren't smart enough to leave at the begining like a lot of people did. I have never seen a business with so little reguard for their customers.”

“Cafe Au Lait was delicious as was the breakfast sandwich with egg, arugula, goat cheese and fig jam but what REALLY was the best surprise was the amazing caramel apple cookie, and (per husband)gluten free snickerdoodle cookie and gluten free pumpkin muffin which I had to enjoy half of each also. What a great gem I haven’t eaten baked goods this terrific in a long time. Friendly staff and a nice relaxing atmosphere!”

“Came to play some pool, came back for the people. Was on vacation in the Cape looking for a spot to shoot some pool at night and came across this gem. Very welcoming staff and patrons, all good vibes, great prices, well maintained pool tables. There’s nothing to not like about this place! Will be returning when I’m up that way again.”

“I know some people have not given this place very good reviews but we have only had good experiences here. We have only been twice, both times we were at the Cape. Visits were 3 years apart. But both times we were served a great pizza, cold beer, and the staff was friendly and efficient. We even talked with the owner ( both times) and he was so kind and appreciative for us coming in.
There is nothing that really stands out as far as atmosphere, but it was comfortable, and you do order and pick up your food at that counter.
We will always go back here whenever we are in town!!”

“Lobster rolls $39. Medium size portion of lobster. Lobster had little flavor. Butter or mayo option on the side. Butter was orange. Not real Butter. Not good. I used the starter sauce instead. French fries are battered and really good and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Coleslaw is tasty and lightly mayonnaise. Relaxing clean coastal outside patio eating area.”

“Had lunch today at Terra Nossa Brazilian Grill at the Cape Cod Mall. I had the Terra Nossa classic burger and it was phenomenal. The sausage was a perfect flavor combo with the burger, and both patties were tender enough that you didn’t get anything pulling out of the burger when you bit into it. Caramelized onions and the crunchy potato sticks complimented the burger sauce and added a nice crunch to the burger.

Then there’s the cheese. Melty gooey awesomeness right in the middle of everything. This is an absolute must get at the food court and I am so glad I saw this picture from across the room.”

“I just visited the new Panera site in Hyannis. To say I am surprised is an understatement. The new site is much smaller than the former site Panera occupied for many years. The new site has much less seating and the area where customers get coffee/tea consists of one machine that if busy will lead to a line of customers waiting. The area is very congested with only a tiny counter which made even finding space to set my cup down to pour milk in my tea a challenge! I wish Panera had renovated the space they had as it was much larger and a more convenient location in the plaza. It seems Panera wants to be primarily a drive through restaurant now. I don't think I will be going to Panera as often as I used to because the atmosphere and comfort level isn't nearly as nice as it used to be when they were at their former site.”
