“In a world where kindness has become increasingly rare, and where complaints and rudeness often seem to get the most attention, I felt the need to do the opposite.

I came here to recognize what truly deserves to be seen.

Last Friday afternoon, I stopped by and ordered a French onion soup, which, as always, was delicious. But what stayed with me wasn’t just the taste, it was the way I was treated.

Mike was simply exceptional. Just minutes after helping me, I came back to get a drink, and before I could even say a word, he greeted me by name: “What would you like to drink, Miss Michele?”

It may seem like a small detail, but it wasn’t. It was care. It was presence. It was a choice.

And it wasn’t just with me, he treated everyone around him with the same respect, kindness, and grace.

At a time when so much has become automatic, finding someone like that is rare. And it deserves to be recognized.

I simply wanted to give back, in some way, the same care I received.

“Cafe Au Lait was delicious as was the breakfast sandwich with egg, arugula, goat cheese and fig jam but what REALLY was the best surprise was the amazing caramel apple cookie, and (per husband)gluten free snickerdoodle cookie and gluten free pumpkin muffin which I had to enjoy half of each also. What a great gem I haven’t eaten baked goods this terrific in a long time. Friendly staff and a nice relaxing atmosphere!“

“Parking: We went in my mom's car n she had a sticker on it she lives down the cape n is a senior so I'm really not sure i try to go down as much as i can but had my own problems as i was in the hospital for 2 months this yr 2022 i passed away for 6 min then went into a coma for 3 wks lost my organs ended up on dialisis all caused from pnemino had a liter of fluid behind my heart“

“I was waiting for a ferry to Nantucket and needed a sandwich.I got a veggie wrap on whole wheat that was loaded with beautiful fresh veggies and hummus.It was delicious.The paper napkins was heavy weight and thick,and the plastic tableware was substantial, and the service was cheerful and friendly. “Website says that staff are required to wear masks, no one was wearing. It took about 7 min just to start getting my order. Got my order and as soon as I arrived at my work, I noticed that they forgot to give me some itens. Call them back and ask for a refund since I cant get off of work for another 10 hours now. The excuse was that "they are too busy on Saturdays " even tho on the website shows that "not too busy at this time"! Anyways, quality on customer service is definitely worsening“
