“I am a scone aficionado and have not found a perfect scone on Cape. My go to is The Baker in New Bedford but it's not possible to go as often as I'd like to enjoy a scone. Aime's raspberry scones are heaven. They are buttery and flakey. The texture is really good. They are very small (in comparison to scones I have eaten all over) but that's ok, I love them. 3.15 with tax for a couple of bites of buttery delish.“
“I usually ask to have my #1 made fresh and I wait on the side, and this is the only store that gets it done right every time. I have to say they are attentive, friendly and hard workers. Today Alexandre Focas was extremely politely taking my order and even asked if I wanted extra napkins, ketcup or mayo. That is a service that sometimes we don’t receive at a high-end restaurant in Boston. Great job!!!“
“Good Food but they should change the oil more often, fast service which could be faster with more employees I see many times the same person that takes my order in the drive thru gets the money park me make the bag and bring outside as well taking too long, they are mostly friendly, they make a good job tho.Kid-friendliness: happy meals make the kids happier.“
“Today was my first time visiting the Great Awakening Coffee House... and it definitely will not be my last! In fact, I plan on making this my weekly "thing" to treat myself to great coffee (raspberry mocha, today!), pastries, staff and a comfortable, laid back atmosphere. During my time there, the staff & owner's interactions with the regulars, as well as "newbs" like myself, added a certain "warmth" to the whole experience. The cheese Danish, parmesan & spinach Danish, and raspberry mocha were the perfect remedy to help buffer against the cold, windy and gray day. Thank you, G.A.C.H. for doing what you do, and doing it right!Parking: No matter where you park, it is a short walk to shop. VERY convenient.“
“So thankful this place exists and how much the owner, and staff, give back to the community. Sadly, their food quality is inconsistent and leans more into fake meats and cheeses rather than whole foods like when they opened Updated from previous review on 2022-11-05“
“I went in to buy a bag of coffee beans for my husband and was a bit overwhelmed by the large selection. To my surprise an employee came out from behind the counter and asked me if I needed help. After a few questions she helped me pick a winner. My husband loved her choice. We will be back.“
“I'm a big fan of cannolis, and I've tried them from all over the states as well as Italy. I can honestly say that the cannolis from Scapicchio”s are the best I've ever had.The shells are perfectly crispy and flaky, and the filling is rich and creamy, with just the right amount of sweetness. The cannolis are also always fresh and delicious, no matter when I get them.I highly recommend Scapacchio to anyone looking for the best cannolis ever. You won't be disappointed!“
“Such a wonderful addition to the town! We came here almost every day with our 2.5 yr old and enjoyed delicious breakfast sandwiches and muffins on the porch. The owner is wonderful and all the food is clearly made with such care and attention. We'll be back!“
“got a bag of your dark roast and had it ground for my French press. wow!! I'm hooked. even with the time it takes to make French press coffee, it's so worth it. we'll be back for sure. and your maple brown sugar latte is spectacular. and a warmed apple Danish? heaven is Old Kings coffeehouse.“
“Here, you will find yourself in a truly quaint little café nestled within the heart of the historic downtown district of Barnstable.Nirvana Coffee Co. offers a variety of delicious treats, including vegan and gluten-free baked goods, for those sourcing these options. As well as plenty of lattes/coffee drinks to choose from. The counter staff are friendly and happy to make beverage suggestions, shall you feel indecisive in regards to what to order. My spouse and I ordered a pistachio and Mayan Moka latte. We immensely enjoyed our coffee experience here. The tone really sets the calmness of ambiance here. Time drifted by us while sitting at the counter tables in front of the window facing the outside to the picturistic courthouse. We ended up chatting with friendly locals seated next to us and were whisked away in good conversation to what felt like simpler times. This cafe is a true gem on the Cape not to be missed.“
