Made a reservation and arrived about 5 minutes before. Waited 15 minutes and we were brought to the unopened side that they decided to open even though our reservation was for a high top in the bar. Waited another 15 minutes at the table. Nobody came so we left and had a wonderful meal with live entertainment without a reservation. Won't be back.

My wife and I went Saturday night. It was pretty busy but not overwhelming. We sat at the bar. I had the bolognese which was just ok. I got homemade penned which was good but the bolognese was mediocre. I can lt remember what the wife got, but enjoyed. The food came out extremely fast which was good.

Tried out this place for my birthday dinner with friends. Made a reservation ahead of time, were seated promptly. Decor and general ambiance is very pleasant, although quite loud as there was a party of 10 women seated nearby.
Server was perhaps still a rookie, no introduction or welcome and barely said a word. Service was haphazard and inconsistent - our friend waited well over 15 minutes for his martini which he received only after mentioning it to the manager who had stopped by. From the price point (‘upscale’) you would think a bartender at such a place would know how to make a Perfect Martini - no such luck.
We ordered the Beet & Apple Salad, they split it for us in the kitchen which was very nice - the Salad itself was quite tasty - we would definitely get it again.
Ordered Baked Oyster appetizer, never received it.
My entree was the Limencello Chicken, and although the chicken was cooked nicely and the portions were generous there was very little flavor, and NO taste whatsoever of lemon. I don’t like angelhair pasta so requested it be served over vegetables - all I received were 4 small florets of broccoli in place of a mound of pasta.
Husband, however, said his Tuscan Chicken dish was ‘excellent’ and that is VERY high praise from him!
After the meal I was brought a complimentary piece of cake complete with candle and singing which did redeem the evening a bit for me.
Husband very much wants to give this place another chance - so we will likely give it another go.

I’ve been a few times and want to give it 5 stars! I live nearby and want them to succeed! I like the food and drinks! Everyone we’ve been with has also enjoyed their apps and food. We’ve sat outaide, inside and at the bar it’s just slow.. (okay, true Tuscan/European experience, expect that?). But the bar is sooooo slow for drinks at tables or sitting at bar. The problem seemed pretty clear, the bartender was serving the entire restaurant, the bar tables and the bar. That needs to change. If that changes, I think it’s 5 stars. I hope it changes:). Or, make it BYOB maybe. Pls Keep trying BarnTucTav!

My family was just there tonight. We have birthday week every year. They fly east coast or Florida coast just to fish. They brought their own fish in to be cooked. Chicago to the coast just to fish...they added a gratuity to a table of three. When the manager was questioned about the gratuity being added she said she didn't, the waiter did. Very displeased with the service, but the food was great. Not sure if I would recommend my family to go there again.
We had a lovely dinner at Barnstable Tuscan Cuisine. We started with the $1 oysters which were fantastic. We then had the zupa de pesce, veal and calamari and they were all prepared expertly. Rosa was a great hostess and the atmosphere is very cozy. I highly recommend it and we will surely be back soon.

Everything about this place was excellent! If you're ever in the Barnstable area, go check this place out. The wings and the veal marsala were fantastic. The sauce that they used for both dishes left me with wanting more of it. Aside from the food, our waitress was outstanding! Super friendly with an amazing smile and a great personality! She made all of us feel very welcomed. I'm definitely going back here on my next trip to Cape Cod! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Asked to leave because we were chit chatting 5 minutes after we paid our bill.
My mother and I met up to discuss wedding plans over dinner. We ordered around $100 of food and drinks and discussed while we ate.
I had my laptop with me, which is perhaps why the waiter badgered us. We had just received the check and paid immediately upon receipt of the bill. No more than 5 minutes later we finished talking, I got up to use the bathroom before leaving, and while I was in the bathroom, the waiter approached my mother and asked her to leave. Mind you we had paid the check no more than 5 minutes ago. My mother was STILL drinking her beverage.
We had already paid the waiter a 20% tip at that point. So apparently taking 5 extra minutes of chit chat after paying the bill is more than enough time for the wait staff to ask you to leave.
Start to finish, we were in there for barely one hour (including the time it took for us to be served). By no means were we holding up a table. I don’t think it was rude to bring my laptop, but perhaps I was in the wrong there. Either way it didn’t justify being kicked out 5 minutes after receiving the bill. There was no wait and there were several open tables.

We are so glad it has re-opened after the fire. The menu has kept our favorite items. We've already gone back twice, just the two of us, and look forward to taking guests there again. Excellent veal and seafood entrees, friendly & attentive staff. We haven't yet dined in the renovated interior, the outside dining is so appealing.

Good food, had a wonderful waitress, not crowded, relaxed atmosphere. This is 1 of 3 places owned by these folks - all of them are good. Island blue crab, pecorino Romano, and Barnstable Tuscan cuisine.
We had the most wonderful dinner experience at the Tuscan Cuisine last night! I say ‘experience’ since every aspect was delightful. My husband cannot eat shrimp but so wanted their fra Diablo so they gladly substituted littlenecks in their wonderful spicy sauce! Freddy, our waiter, was so fantastic and attentive! He truly was tops and so warm and friendly. I also had the beet and apple salad that was very special! We were so happy with everything that Freddie took us to the kitchen to meet the chef/owner, Walter (Wally) Montero! I gave him a hug to express our thanks!
Don’t miss this lovely place where excellence seems to be their goal.
