Went for lunch. The restaurant was less than half full. Ordered seafood scampi. I sent it back it tasted sour (actually spit out the mouthful into a napkin). Ordered lobster roll. Ate it but the roll was stale. Ordered crab cake appetizer, it was good. My drink was excellent . The waitress seemed to change her attitude toward us once I told her the scampi was not good. Really bad energy after that. We waited way too long for a to go box (for lobster roll) and bus boy was sent over to abruptly grab our check. They took the scampi off our bill but neither the waitress or management came over to ask about it. An overall bad experience

We honestly just chose this place because of its name, but it ended up being a solid decision. I ate quite a bit of lobster during my vacation to Cape Cod, but this ended up being my favorite meal of the trip. I got the blackened cod with a lobster and pea shoot salad on top and risotto underneath. It was truly amazing. The service was fast and friendly. It was expensive ($37), but probably no more so than a similar dish anywhere else.

Many locals recommended Black Cat. My wife and I found it lived up to its reputation. My wife had the BLT Wedge salad and I had the Lobster Cake Sandwich and a side salad. Everything was perfect but their creative Fennel Vinaigrette dressing was a pleasant surprise.

I had a great time at the Black Cat Tavern. For my drink, I got a Strawberry Limon mojito. It was very refreshing and had a great tasted. I heard it is also one of the favorites at the restaurant. For my entree, I had the lobster roll which I really enjoyed. The bread was toasted and the lobster was good. For dessert, I had the gelato of the day which was an espresso with chocolate chips. The gelato was fantastic and a great way to end the meal. My server, Shannon, was so incredible and she made the entire experience at the restaurant phenomenal. She would check in and also gave great recommendations.

Honestly, I don't care for the hard sell on their valet parking (when there's ample parking across the street), but that may just be me. We sat outside and had a very nice dinner. Our server was kind and professional, but maybe stretched just a little thin.
Too much batter on some dishes which kills the real taste. Good customer services.

This time I had the fried oysters that were amazing! Tough to get such a dish at such a reasonable price in RI. (IF you can find them) our service and the quality of food was excellent, as expected. Would highly recommend trying the chowder as it rivals the best of them. The outdoor music set an incredible atmosphere for an enchanting dining experience.
Parking: Had to drive the street a couple times before finding an open spot near the restaurant as the valet lot was full….not surprised. Was worth the trip.
Kid-friendliness: Plenty of things for the kids to do while waiting for dinner to be served. There were plenty of kids there. Our grandkids loved the location and the food.
