We honestly just chose this place because of its name, but it ended up being a solid decision. I ate quite a bit of lobster during my vacation to Cape Cod, but this ended up being my favorite meal of the trip. I got the blackened cod with a lobster and pea shoot salad on top and risotto underneath. It was truly amazing. The service was fast and friendly. It was expensive ($37), but probably no more so than a similar dish anywhere else.
Many locals recommended Black Cat. My wife and I found it lived up to its reputation. My wife had the BLT Wedge salad and I had the Lobster Cake Sandwich and a side salad. Everything was perfect but their creative Fennel Vinaigrette dressing was a pleasant surprise.
I had a great time at the Black Cat Tavern. For my drink, I got a Strawberry Limon mojito. It was very refreshing and had a great tasted. I heard it is also one of the favorites at the restaurant. For my entree, I had the lobster roll which I really enjoyed. The bread was toasted and the lobster was good. For dessert, I had the gelato of the day which was an espresso with chocolate chips. The gelato was fantastic and a great way to end the meal. My server, Shannon, was so incredible...
