Followed instructions and noted pie crust never really browned after 90 min. Pie was very doughy and when sliced..hot juice literally jumped out all over counter. Maybe two TBS of chicken in entire pie. So terribly disappointed..had to come up with anoher menu for dinner...wasted $13 dollars!

I bought the frozen chicken mini pies at Central Market, a high end grocery store grocery for $7.97 in Texas, and they were garbage! The crust was doughy and raw tasting despite cooking it until it was brown at the edges and the chicken was dry and chewy. The first bite was gristle! I assume the gravy was absorbed into the crust bc it was nonexistent and dry. Overall, it was Horrible! I don’t know if they actually make these by hand (as the label suggests) or, they sold it to a big corporation. I certainly hope the fresh products are better.

Purchased the Frozen Chicken Pie at Shaws because my brand was not there. It looked good pictured on the box. The crust was thick doughy and just bad, small dark chunks of chicken that were few and far between, the filling was watery and mostly peas. I could not eat this mess and threw away the whole thing. Worst Chicken pie I have had by far. Should be renamed on the box to Wet Bread Pea Pie. I definitely would not purchase again.

As others have said these are garbage. I have bought these chicken pies MANY times in the past but that last 2 i bought where horrible. Lots of dark meat. In the past there was barely any dark meat. White meat is tough. There was several pieces of cartilage as well. It's quite apparent this is all a cost cutting method. Amazing a company would ruin a great product to save money.

We’d read wonderful things about Centerville Pie Company Shepherd’s Pie and ordered through Goldbelly. It was an expensive disaster. Dry, tasteless, far more dough than filling. Never again.

I purchased the Chicken Pie at Walmart ($$). The ingredient list looked good. Unfortunately this pie was not what I was hoping for.
Crust was sweet, which didn't go with the chicken.
There was a lot of big chunks of chicken, but it was pretty tough.
I had high hopes, but ended up disappointed.

We just bought the chicken pot pie at our local store and had it for dinner this evening. After reading some negative reviews I totally disagree. It was delicious! We had a lot of yummy chicken and vegetables, the gravy was not runny and the crust tasted great! We will buy again!

The chicken pie from this company used to be very good but something has gone terribly wrong with their operation or chef. The pie was full of disgusting dark meat and the sauce was watery and very salty almost to the point of puking it up. Don’t buy from this company anymore until they fix the product. Not even worth $10. Stay away.

you changed the chicken from delicious shredded to just plain canned soup style chunks. Not really good anymore.

We bought their frozen apple pie at Market Basket in Chelsea, and I have to say, both my wife and I independently came to the conclusion that it was not flavorful, and actually, not even edible. It's incredibly lemon-y, thick consistency, virtually no apple taste/sugar/cinnamon. Just some kind of weird lemon-y chemical. A local pie company -- you want it to taste good, you want to support it, women-owned, etc.; you want it to work. But with no apple flavor in it whatsoever, it doesn't. She and I both put our partly-eaten pieces in the trash bin, she a couple of hours before me; then we compared notes. It ranks up there with the poorest apple pies either one of us has ever had (and that's saying something, because for some reason it's getting harder and harder to find flavorful, non-fake apple pies. Of which this, unfortunately, is one.)

I purchased a chicken pot pie at my local Kroger. After reading the box (should have read the ingredients), I was hooked. After reading the box, one has the impression the product is batch produced. So why not? BTW, the pie was not cheap. I don't know what going on with their kitchen, but my encounter with the first slice was an absolute disappointment. First, the gravy. The gravy really could not be described as gravy. Rather, the "gravy"was more of a bland gelatinous substance. The second issue was the chicken. The chicken (as solid white meat) tasted as if they found the oldest, meanest rooster in the yard and threw him in the pie. The meat was so tough, I was actually shocked. The crust was mediocre but not offensive. Next time, I'll do Marie Calendar.

Purchased a famous home style pie crust at hannafords. Below is a photo taken after baking 10 minutes. Truly a disappointment.

So disappointed. I bought 2 for a family of 3- mom and two teens (boys eat a lot). The pies are watery (even after resting) lack veggies or meat and was mediocre at best. Does not look anything near how the box represents the Chicken Pot Pies.

Got the "spinach and feta pie" via goldbelly. Pretty bland and basic, with hardly any feta.

I bought the Chicken Pot Pie at a local grocery store for $16. It was expensive but the picture and ingredients sold me, plus having lived many years in MA, and much time on the Cape, I was excited to taste it. With no one here to share Christmas this year, I planned it for dinner. I followed the directions completely, but even after 2 hours and 15 minutes there was no color whatsoever to the crust and it felt soft to the touch. I left it in ten more minutes. Waiting was painful as my mouth was watering. I left it sit until it was completely cooled and was horrified when I cut into it. *(see pictures)
Crust: thick, doughy, flavorless
Filling: As watery as chicken soup, sans the flavor.
Chicken; tough a d flavorless as an old pair of shoes.
Overall flavor: Not well seasoned, flat, and weirdly sweet
I want a refund! What a lovely Christmas dinner.
It's in the garbage.
**UPDATE 1/2/25
Though I had already emailed Diane the day I posted my review, I emailed once again, after her "oh no!..." response requesting a refund. Crickets.
