I am originally. Capie but have lived in Iowa since 1984. Every year when we come home the first place we stop at is “Cooks”. From there we call family and friends to come join us for the best fish dinners on the Cape. We are heartbroken to hear you are closing the end of November. We will miss our yearly tradition . Thank you for all the wonderful years of great food. Your staff has always been courteous and friendly.It was nice to return each year and see most of the same employees. Just wish it wasn’t so.

Would certainly recommend trying out this place. Awesome mood, delightful food, good service. Kudos.

A lovely restaurant with the option to dine in or outWe were looking for a quick lunch and found Cooke’s Seafood to be exactly what we were looking for. We ordered the food and and it was ready in about 10 minutes. The server brought it outside for us. The service was quick. The food was delicious and the prices fair. We sat outside and enjoyed the light breeze.

It isn't a trip to the Cape without going to Cooke's. The food is always on point.

Their phone didn't work. Other customers I ran into said the same. The order time was ok. The fried calamari were fried to a crisp. Broiled plates were decent. Have been going there for decades and last few years have been disappointing.

A few years ago new owners took over this fish place. They are so nice and are usually behind the counter working away when we go in for our favorite broiled fish plate. I like their fresh coleslaw, it's always very cold and very crispy. The women who work at the counter are very pleasant, too. They keep the dining area very clean, it's one of our favorite places to go for an affordable delicious meal.

The staff is rude especially the women that work there. The food is average you don’t get a lot for what you pay price wise. I would not recommend this establishment. They need to go back to the 80s and 90s when service and food quality was better.

Food was good, the serving size for the fish and chips was perfect, service was great.The server even brought our food to us so we wouldn't have to wait inside. I would recommend if the want fish and chips to check it out.
