Do not recomend, food was flavorless, coffee at 8am tasted like it was reheated from day before, waitress didnt want to be there, dirty atmosphere, not welcoming. Highly recommend going some place else. I WOULD RATHER HAVE TAKEN MY FAMILY TO MCDONALD'S.

Dont do it! Walked in and knew we should have left, unkempt entry with clutter everywhere. Waited too long to order even in a near empty restaurant. Hash was burned, homefries flavorless. Eggs were fine. Only good part of the meal was the anazing french toast. 1 server was watching movies loudly on her phone, the other was playing loud music at times. Id get french toast to go but otherwise will not visit again. Also $50 for a small breakfast for 2 is excessive.

Food was awful, waitstaff was arguing in the dining area, very uncomfortable. 3 out of 3 meals zero stars. Over priced $55 for 3 plates, a coffe and a rotten OJ. We do not recommend eating here.

Great little breakfast spot. No wait at all when other places had long lines. Server was super friendly and food was great!

Loved the atmosphere, and our waitress was super. But $53 for two omelets and a cup of coffee and one of tea is a bit crazy. That's not counting the tip!!

Kelly was our server. We were there Sept 12. We haven't been to the cape since 2017. We always have breakfast at the Egg and I. As usual it was a great experience having breakfast at the Egg and I. The food has always been delicious. Our waitress Kelly was great. Very friendly and made us feel right at home. Thank you Egg and I for another great experience.

We plan a end of summer trip down Cape to Hyannis every year. This is our go to place for breakfast and the food is plentiful and tasty. Only 3 stars for service the visit due to being short staffed and over crowded.

I was charged $8.50 for 3 add ons to an omelet after I initially removed 2 items, and nicely asked to review and decrease that amount. I could hear the manger arguing with our waitress about it and took at least 15mins to return and gave us $1 off. Terrible customer service and I feel bad for the staff here.

Hyannis Main Street does big breakfast business and this family operated place holds it's own, and then some. A slightly more formal atmosphere in a town dedicated to the casual. Lots of personality and the food couldnt be better. You're sure to get exactly what you want.Parking: Hyannis Main St parking. By day 2 you know what this means, but its the same for every business on Main St.

Tish was our server. She was friendly, professional, and awesome. The food was very good. This is a perfect place when you are looking for a Hyannis/Cape Cod eating experience.

After being away from the cape for 6 years, we came back just for a quick trip and we always have breakfast at the egg and I, in fact for the past 38 years and they never disappoint. This time was especially nice since our wait person Kelly, made such a nice time of it. She was probably the best waitress we’ve ever had there and there were many, but she greeted us with a great happy attitude and couldn’t have been more accommodating to us. The food was, as usual, the best fat omelette and bacon cooked the way we love it. After all these years of vacationing there each year, this was our last time we’ll make the 5 1/2 hour drive from New York, as the restaurant dinner costs have out priced themselves and we aren’t willing to pay the astronomical prices they’re charging per plate. It’s a shame. We paid $93.18 the other night fir two dinners of fish and chips that used to cost around $12.99 per plate. Coffee and an iced tea were the drinks. We will miss the breakfasts though at our favorite place on Main Street, the egg and I.
