Second time here and it was just as good as the first time! It was a busyyyy night but the staff did great making sure everyone was hydrated and well fed.
I started off with the burrata salad, then the salmon and finished with the chocolate bread pudding (it was really more like a chocolate lava cake).

Went here today for the 1st time. Everything was amazing. Service was great, servers were all super nice and friendly. Great menu, small and not overwhelming but even still it was hard to pick because everything sounded so good. Cod chowder was fantastic and all our entrees and apps were so good. Will defenitely be back

We went there for dinner on Valentine's day and the Service/Atmosphere was amazing, the staff were very friendly. We were disappointed with the food because the presentation was very good but the actual taste was not. We had swordfish and short ribs as entrees and two dessert's, the entrees did not have enough seasoning, the short rib was a little dry... The cocktails were great and the overall ambience!

Unfortunately, it doesn’t matter how good your food is but if your bar service is arrogant, annoying, loquacious and totally forget about you if you aren’t a regular or are big party but am never coming back! So bad as they just lost a generous new tipper who just moved 4 min away…

We had a wonderful dinner at Five Bays Bistro! All of our meals and appetizers were delicious, especially the Thai mussels and sole Francaise, the special Surf and Turf, the Cod, and the fillet Mignon. Our waitperson was very attentive and cheerful. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

Absolutely fantastic meal. Good value for high-quality food. 3 star is not really a fair reflection, but our meal was spoiled by the constant loud chatter from the tables around us.
We went for dinner on Friday evening and absolutely loved the experience. From the delicious food, thoughtfully presented and prepared, to the staff, everything was done to perfection. Shout out to the Chef for the best food I’ve had!

Outstanding dinner with a quiet and relaxing ambiance. I had a very creative (and delicious!) scallops and succotash dish and my wife had the chicken Marsala. Frankly, I had never understood the appeal of chicken Marsala until I tried some of my wife’s dinner tonight - what an absolute revelation! For both of our dinners, every element was executed perfectly and all blended together to create harmonious and delicious meals. The key lime pie we had for dessert was also to die for.
We found the service friendly and welcoming and the ambiance refined yet relaxing. We appreciated that it was plenty quiet enough to carry on a civilised conversation without needing to shout. I’m sure we’ll be back!!

We walked in and before the door shut behind us the bartender was already pretty much yelling not speaking to us because we was so far away but yelling at us that they were five people ahead of us basically telling us to leave.
It is August 3rd Saturday night 2024 so whoever was tending the bar was not only rude, but unwelcoming and changing our mind about ever wanting to come there.

This place is just perfect. It’s funny I have lived here for a while and never been to 5 Bays. My best friend wanted to dine here so we did. I think it’s the best food on the Cape and I am a Boston/Restaurant/Snob. I don’t think you could find a bad dish on the menu. A word on the service? The first time I was here I overpaid my bill by 100$. I never would have known had the Server not returned the money. That’s a professional and its character. Thank you again.BTW, best beef anywhere….
Dietary restrictions: I have a lot of dietary restrictions. The kitchen is very well versed in which ingredients I cannot have . I appreciate it. I have had problems twice recently with other places but thankfully not here. It’s more fun to go out and not risk a stroke!!!
