Not Your Average Joe's - Hyannis

Great food, great prices, great service. Used my $15 birthday gift. What an incentive to dine!

Went for the $50 value deal. Had a great app, 2 really good entres and the desert was delicious.

The food and the service and the were fantastic, and the food was delicious as always our server was very friendly and helpful.

Service was not the greatest. Waitress did not bring bread, forgot to put in a kid's meal, and it took a while to get our order. Food was decent, but expensive.

Waiter when we sat was rushing us to put in drink and app order, which was understandable because it was 2/14/25 but then it took over 2.5 hours to get dinner and dessert, was long periods of time between him asking if we wanted something we would say yes then 20 minutes would go by before he came back to take our orders, was just an okay experience

Service was great! Food arrived quickly & was quite tasty. Server did not rush us. A+

We went for lunch and got what we frequently get. The pizza and wine special. The pizza was cooked just the way we asked for it and the wine is a good table wine for the price. I do want to comment on our server, Kelly. I was very impressed with her performance. She was the only waitress working this lunchtime and had the entire restaurant to serve. She was amazing. She never neglected anyone and her timing with taking orders, bringing the food and checking that everything was to our liking was on spot perfect. She definitely made our lunch very enjoyable.

I always go to NOT YOUR AVERAGE JOE'S I took my special needs daughter as they have food she loves and great service. I have never been disappointed eating at the Cape Cod Mall location of Not Your Average Joe's.

Horrible service, food was left in kitchen and gave us all a stomach ache. So slow my daughter waited 45 mins for a cup of soup. It took us asking several times for the staff to “check the kitchen” for our food while we watched tables around us come and go. The quality of the food was great and cold. Not worth it on any front. And we had been loyal customers for 20.years. They used to have professional managers who would walk around and checking with people about how things were going and staff that supported. The poor waitress I felt bad for, she was nice but the place was not running well at all.

Right beside our hotel. Excellent food and service. The four of us all enjoyed everything. My wife had a huge wedge salad. So big she couldn't finish it. I had the small shrimp pizza, but it was also too big to finish.

our waiter was excellant. My fish and chips was the worst meal i have ever had here. so salty the coating was inedible. i have been eating there for years. not sure i will come back.

Before their remodel, it was a great place to eat. After, it seems like they are much more inconsistent. The good is usually good, but the last time we went, it took almost 25 minutes before anyone approached us after sitting down - and it was only because I flagged down the waiter and told him we haven't been waited on yet. By the time we got our waters and bread, 40 minutes had gone by.
Normally, if we wait this long and nobody greets us at the table, we leave. We didn't leave this time because my wife and I had been seated with our infant twins and our friends had been seated with their toddler and we thought it would be too much of an event to try and change plans.
The waiter, to his defense, seemed very busy - as if he was the only waiter in the restaurant. The restaurant was also full, which I have not seen before since they remodeled.
Overall, it is not a bad place and the food is good, just don't come in expecting much except for Cape Cod pricing.

I recently visited Not Your Average Joe's and was pleased to find a variety of gluten-free options on the menu. The food was tasty, but unfortunately, the prices didn't quite match the quality and portion sizes. I felt it was a bit overpriced for what we received.

The service was just okay. Our server seemed friendly, but when we asked for soda refills, they never arrived. This was particularly surprising since we visited mid-afternoon and the restaurant wasn't busy.

Overall, I'd give Not Your Average Joe's 3.5 stars out of 5. While I appreciated the gluten-free options and enjoyed the food, the value and service didn't quite live up to my expectations. Perhaps with some adjustments, I'd consider returning and bumping up my rating.

We usually go to NYAJ during a shopping trip. The food is always consistently good and reasonably priced. The only problem we've had the last two times we were there was waiting longer than usual to have our order taken and then waiting again prior to getting our drinks. It would be understood if they were very busy but neither time were they even close to being filled. That being said, it won't stop us from going there again when it's convenient. As far as what we ordered, we got their pizza and bottle of wine special. The pizza was prepared just as we asked and was very good. The wine isn't the best but is what I would call a decent table wine to drink with food.
