We had a large party to celebrate a birthday, and best time on a 10k! The food was fabulous, the service was great and the hostess named Princess was out of this world! She took such great care of us. She also took such memorable pictures of our table that we will cherish! It included 3 generations of family! Thank you!

My family and I went out tonight, 2/21/2024, and had some meals that were absolutely delicious! But what made our night even better was our server, Princess. Not only was she one of the best servers we ever had, she was kind, personable and made eye contact while smiling the whole time! We absolutely loved her, Not Your Average Joes is very lucky to have her part of their staff! We can’t wait to come back and hopefully have her as our server once again!

Pretty good place, it’s your average American restaurant. Nothing much to say about it, to be honest, it’s a perfectly fine, average, run of the mill restaurant.Vegetarian options: There’s a few vegetarian options here, it’s pretty good. It’s not especially good, but it’s not like a steak place either…..Dietary restrictions: They’ll tell you what’s in a dish, but they’re weird about replacing it. I ordered a food with ham in it and I can’t eat ham, and they could do it without it, but my only option was to do it with marinara sauce?Parking: It’s in Cape Cod mall, so you’re using their parking, which can get very crowded very quickly.Kid-friendliness: It’s an ok place to bring kids. It’s not kid oriented, but it’s not bad either. Perfectly middle of the road. Not sure if there’s a kids menu though.Wheelchair accessibility: It’s all on the first floor, but there’s 2 sets of doors. The antechamber is pretty big though so you should be fine.
My husband and I celebrated a late Valentine’s Day dinner this evening at Not Your Average Joe’s. The food, drinks, atmosphere, and service were excellent! I especially love the options on the drink menu for a delicious, fancy mocktail. Our server, Princess was attentive, kind, and made us feel very welcome. We love this spot for a date night!

tables around us were extremely dirty while restaurant was empty and not busy, at least 4 tables had distrust plates and all on them. Food was extremely salty and meat was over cooked, server did not ask how i wanted my meat. Our table was poorly cleaned before we were seated. Waitress was sweet but disappeared during our dinner, we wanted to order more drinks and water but she was no where to be found and when she did show up wouldn't even come check our table. We are very easy customers, we never complain, my boyfriends who's an experienced bartender ordered a whisky sour and what we got was straight up whisky with an ice ball and a cherry on the bottom, we were in disbelief! Definitely not going back for another Valentine's day dinner.

NYAJ is a family favorite! Excellent food (we love the chicken piccata and the dumpling appetizer!) and the service is always great. Princess was an awesome server, super attentive and fast. Will definitely go back!

We had a great dining experience tonight at Not Your Average Joe's in Hyannis. The appetizers were excellent, hot and delicious and our meals were very well prepared. It is obvious that the manager for this location cares and it was evident throughout the restaurant. The one thing that made this meal 5 Star, was one incredible Server Princess N. We hit the lottery by having her as our server. In these times of hurry up and go, Princess engaged us in warm conversation as she took our order. She has incredible people skills that many employees do not use in their work anymore. When you combine great food with an exceptional employee like Princess N, it makes an old retired Army Colonel pick up the keyboard to let everyone know that Not Your Average Joe's in Hyannis is well managed and what a winning combination it is to have Princess N as your brand ambassador. I highly recommend this location for great food and an exceptional waitress Princess N (#304)Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free meals which is important for our daughter.Parking: Plenty of room on the busiest night of the week a Friday!

I am visiting from California and was grabbing lunch with the girls, haven't been here for years. I noticed they had completely changed the set up of the restaurant, I was hoping for they didn't change to much on the menu. We were seated by a very nice girl, sorry didn't get her name, and within a minute or so we met our server Princess. Boy did the name suit her, from her great customer service, (which by the way, I have been in for over 30 years, and you really can't find it anymore) to the service and conversation. The food was Delish. We enjoyed French onion soup, amazing and some apps. I was happy to have met Princess and hope next time I visit I will be served by her.
