Wonderful brunch, food was delicious and service was impeccable! This is our favorite place on the Cape!

Was disappointed that at 7PM the restaurant was out of several items. No oysters or scallops on Cape Cod at 7PM. Our waiter Bruno was good and helped to make the night satisfiable.

Great night overall. Bread came out before water. First round of water was room temp. I drink straight tonic, my first tonic came out flat. Second tonic was poured from a bottle and perfect. Food was incredible, truly an experience. Servers were delightful. Noise was oppressive. Party on the opposite side of the room were drunk and screaming 2' from each others faces. I could barely hear my poor server. Overall great. We will def be back.

I found the back room very dark but Thanks to my flashlight on my phone I could read the menu. It was quite noisy ! The food was very salty -

The food is delicious and the servers were good. We were the first party sat in the empty dining room and given a teeny tiny table for 2 near the bathroom. We did not complain as we assumed the restaurant would fill up. It did not. The 4 top next to us remained empty and they sat a party of 2 at the 4 top on our other side. Very disappointing. We noted it was our anniversary on our reservation and it was never acknowledged by the staff. We wish we had gone somewhere else to celebrate.

The French onion soup and baked oysters were amazing. The lamb chops were a bit disappointing but the service was good.

We have been going to Pain D'Avignon for years, have always enjoyed it.. this experience was sub par... we ordered 2 orders of Wellfleet oysters as appetizers the menu said 1/2 dozen, when we received them there was only 5 oysters, we asked the buss boy to get our waiter .. it was taking a while so we started eating ... when someone (other than our waiter) came over and we showed him our order... he explained “oh yes the menu hasn't been updated, we reduced the number of oysters to 5” and offered no further explanation or solution and walked away. This annoyed me for the remainder of my meal.. when our original waiter came at the end of the dinner and asked how everything was I explained our experience with the appetizers he seemed puzzled by the explanation we received and said leave it with him...when he brought our check they did take one of the orders off the check but the experience was set.. They should have told us when we ordered the menu was wrong. When we asked the buss boy to get our waiter and someone else came, they should of fixed the mistake Also early that day my wife and I went for Breakfast at Pain D'Avignon in Chatham ... we ordered our drinks while we reviewed option for breakfast we decided on the same thing Classic Breakfast.. and placed our order... we can overhear some of the employees saying “ we have no eggs”, I called our waiter over to ask did I hear correctly? Are open for breakfast but have no eggs, to which he answered yes, someone is going to the CVS to buy some eggs.. he did offer to bring our bacon and potatoes while we waited??? Anyways it was my wife's birthday we normally have good experience, it wasn't meant to be I guess

The flattened crab cakes are the best we've ever found because every bite combines crust and crabmeat

First time there. Absolutely loved it! Staff was attentive and friendly as well. Can't wait to return.

Arrived before reservation at 8 and 3 entrees out of 9 were no longer available and no alternatives were provided. Waited over an hour for entrees to be served and they were cold and overcooked. Very disappointing as I wanted this to be my neighborhood cafe. Ate there a few weeks earlier and the experience was overall better. Our waiter was pleasant but not on top of things. Very sad!!

We went for Easter Brunch. We enjoyed a "breakfast" cocktail and both of our main sources selections were well presented and "tasty." Having a cappuccino was a nice end.

Server was very very good and ensured that we received what we requested - low salt on food and food carefully prepared knowing allergies to shellfish/ lobster- he ensured that my husband's fries were made in oil not! used with the seafood. Quiet and nice seating- also a clean restaurant! Food was very fresh- great falafal and bibb salad! bread made on sight and outstanding! Really well done and we would definitely return-we also went next door to their sister restaurant to check it out - Pizza Lab -got a great decaf cappuccino ( it was late at night!- LOL ) ! The owners and servers are very very chill, kind, and accommodating making the experience welcoming and worth the drive! Along with quality food received! Cheers to all!

As always Pain Davignon delivers an elevated dinner on Cape Cod. There are very few restaurants on the Cape that can rise to this level. The potato and leek soup was velvety with incredible flavor of truffle and rich potato leek aroma. The gnocchi special included mushrooms blanched cherry tomatoes and a rich ricotta and Parmesan sauce, sublime. The chicken was perfectly cooked juicy and exuding the herb and broth punch of flavor. Don't miss the bread and butter!! Wine selection is amazing with all regions and price points represented. I've been many times and if you're looking for the special dinner on Cape Cod this is the place.
