This morning, the local coffee shop I frequent was closed one day and I decided to try Panera. There was only one person in front of me at the register, so I figured it would be quick. I was wrong. With all the options thrown at this woman, it took forever as she stared at the clerk and the menu and tried to decide. Other clerks could see I was waiting, and made no effort to open another station. Then I finally ordered my coffee. I paid over 9.00 for a large cappuccino. That's twice what I normally pay and the drink was mediocre at best. I sat down and tried to do some quiet writing but couldn't. The music was loud and awful hip hop. I will not be going back.

Have dined at several Paneras. The best location is hands down Hyannis Massachusetts. They consistently make a great sandwich. Other locations make a skimmy sandwich, or give small amount of soup. Most locations definitely need staff to clean off tables more frequently. This location has special needs staff who clean tables and say hi. A very nice touch.

Good taste and quality declining more and more
Well it's a Panera bread what can I say!? Staff is good the times I've been in there and the store has been pretty clean. I'm a real big fan of the French onion soup. Normally when I go to olive garden it is specifically for the French onion soup and that hunk of bread they throw in the bag. The soup here hasn't let me down yet so I will continue to buy my French onion soup. Thank you for the French onion soup.
