We were very excited to visit Pizza Barbone, since we had read and heard so many good reviews. We thought the food was very good, but the service was almost non existent and the server Tristan had such a superiority complex that it made our experience underwhelming at best. From the moment he approached the table, there was no eye contact, no hello how are you tonight, nothing except “ what are you having”. After dropping our one round of drinks and food he never once checked on us or asked how everything was, nor did we ever get a second round of drinks. The restaurant was busy, but he didn’t seem at all flustered, this literally seemed like his personality. We watched him at other tables and it was the same. We would love to try it again, but you need to lose Tristan, he can’t be good for business!

Went to a Christmas party here. It was a nice atmosphere. Servers were friendly. Food was great. Only complaint is the espresso martini is not what you would expect at all. It was more like a thick cold hot chocolate. To Rich and filling, for those of us who drink them regularly beware. Order something else. Place was busy and bustling, great pizza.

We were a party of 8 walk ins on a busy Saturday night in Hyannis. They fit us in. The Pizza (do not think fast food pizza, great and unique toppings, sauces and crusts) is really great quality.. we shared three different pizzas, each was delicious and unique. We started with some craft cocktails and appetizers. Again, fabulous. And added two salads to share.

Absolutely amazing restaurant. The staff was very friendly and Tarin was a really cool and awesome server! Thank you for making our time there really enjoyable and fun. Pizza was phenomenal and delicious - best I’ve ever had. Definitely coming back again.
Great menu. Artisan pizza at its best. Great value. We should have shared one pizza but had no problem taking home leftovers. My wife doesn't like pistachios, so I had to order the Pistachio Pesto Pizza even though I love red sauce. It was out of this world! Cozy decor and setting. Too bad our waiter couldn't smile or be welcoming. Must have had a bad day, but he was able to "deliver food". They provide you with a nice carafe of water at the table, so we didn't need to bother him for an iced tea refill. I'd definitely recommend and hopefully get more hospitable service next time. Fantastic pizza. Fresh ingredients.

Water soups ,chicken ? I don't think it was real, fresh chicken breast, frozen patties. Very disappointing, nice People, sad that it could of been great if it was real food we are accustomed to

Made the mistake of trying to have dinner at Pizza Barbone the other night. Group of 6 and unfortunately the only seating for 6 was reserved and sitting vacant. No effort made to seat us elsewhere even though other seating was available. Looked like a place that catered to its regular customers who are a noisy bunch and we were kind of relieved to not be seated.

After a day in Nantucket,i researched a place for a meal after returning on hi-speed ferry.The reviews stood out & we were in a pizza kinda mood for our last night on the Cape.We tried to get a pizza of half sausage/half meatball but were told it was not an option ,So we combined the ingredients and were pleased with the results.The oven used is custom made from Italy with an interesting story.
