The food here has improved significantly since the new owners. The service was great, I loved how they worked as a team, all 3 of them helped me at some point. I've only tried the breakfast so far, but will give lunch a try soon!

The amount of food for the pulled pork and eggs with queso and tortillas is not worth 15 dollars.

(Note: I write these reviews in part for my own nationwide business clients, for travel and activity inspiration! I’m a financial planner - CFP®️practitioner - with a focus on retirement wealth strategies, primarily serving business women and LGBTQ individuals. #VirtualPlanningCraftedWithCare®️)We came on a holiday and the place was packed, and with good reason! There is a decent size and even still there were some cars parked on the side of the road. Yet were did get seated right away. There seemed to be a constant movement of people with staff hustling to provide quick service. We were asked about beverages immediately after being seated and put our orders in shortly after that. Happy to report the our server was attentive and friendly, even though she was buzzing around.Food was great! I was so pleased that they had lots to offer in terms of gluten free meals. I was able to get a GF Belgian waffle! It was fluffy and fresh. Served with fresh fruit. My friend had an omelette that she enjoyed with GF bread. Lots of other baked goods to choose from. The atmosphere itself was comfortable, clean and inviting. It had both a traditional country look but also a modern feel. One thing to consider is that the space is a bit tight, so if you have mobility needs, you may need to call ahead for seating accommodations. I feel like they’d do that. There was a gender neutral bathroom which is nice. This establishment is suitable for families, couples, singles and seniors. In terms of prices, not bad at all for the quality you get, with food served hot and promptly. I’d absolutely go here again.

Cute little breakfast, Cafe. Happy staff, great breakfast. Tight seating, but that way, you get to see what your neighbors are eating. Coffee was good and strong. The French toast was just the way we like it, soft on the inside and crisp out. They don't skimp with the whipped cream. Pancakes were good with crisp edges. Bacon was a little chewy but had a sweet taste. Will definitely return

Would have a picture attached to my review, but I was way too excited! This place is everything you need for breakfast and lunch. Sure, it’s small so seating is limited, but the food and service you receive is well worth any wait. The food is well seasoned, perfect portion sizes and there’s literally something for everyone on the menu. Gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, heart healthy… that’s definitely the most inclusive menu on the Cape!Searching for the best breakfast spot and I certainly think we’ve found it. (This is probably the 6th place we’ve tried since moving here in September.) 1000/5 would recommend!

Fig Tree Cafe is incredible!! I’ve lived on cape for almost two years and this is the best food I’ve found here. We have been two days in a row and everything we had was amazing. This will be my new spot for sure!!Vegetarian options: They have many vegetarian options!Kid-friendliness: It’s a small restaurant but they accommodated my six month old.

After a late morning meeting in Cotuit, my wife and I went over to see if we could get into The Fig Tree Cafe (149 Cotuit Rd, Marstons Mills) for lunch. We arrived slightly after 12 pm and were fortunate to snag one of only two remaining parking spots in the lot. To our delight, we were greeted and seated promptly upon entering the restaurant. We've enjoyed lunch at this venue quite a few times over the years, going back to when it was an equally delicious restaurant called The Mills (many in this Group, I am sure, will remember The Mills). The Fig Tree which opened in September 2020 (not the most auspicious time to open a restaurant) is a most suitable successor to The Mills which was committed to the presentation of quality food, friendly service, and a warm, home-like ambiance. We were not terribly hungry and knew from previous dining experiences there that many of the delicious list of sandwiches available for lunch (an extensive breakfast menu is available all day as well) were going to be too much for us to eat. So without consultation, we both ended up ordering the exact same thing--home-made chicken and rice soup and half a classic grilled cheese sandwich along with coffee for my wife (literally fresh-brewed) and an iced tea for me. (This is what happens when you're going on 45 years of marriage--it's a mind-meld kind of thing--lol.) Drinks arrived quickly from another friendly member of the wait staff and our meals soon followed. The soup (which also came with the ubiquitous package of oyster crackers) was rich and flavorful, filled with large chunks of moist white meat, an ample supply of vegetables, and rice which was mercifully not overcooked). The grilled cheese was equally delicious, softly melted Vermont cheddar on whole wheat bread, beautifully grilled with just slightly crispy edges. It was the perfect amount of food for us. We've sampled a variety of items for lunch on past occasions with equal pleasure--house-made clam chowder, double-brie grilled cheese with apple slices and fig jam, house-made corned beef hash, the grilled Rueben with lovely, thin-sliced corned beef and sauerkraut on Marble Rye, among others. I really like that they have duck eggs on the menu (a rarity on most menus) and that most of their bread is sourced from Pain D'Avignon in Hyannis. A delicious, comfortable, and relaxed lunch, what more could you ask for (except an available parking spot). lol [Sorry, no photos this time, I left the phone in my jacket which, given the balmy temperatures, I left in the car.]
