We went to the West End in Hyannis to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and it was an excellent choice. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for a special evening. The food was outstanding — I had the salmon, which was perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful. Everyone at the table loved their meals, and the presentation was beautiful. The wait staff was attentive and friendly, striking the right balance between being professional and making us feel at home. They even helped make the birthday celebration extra special. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and I would absolutely recommend the West End for both special occasions and a night out on the Cape.

Loved our waiter and loved the atmosphere, but the food was definitely not good. The calamari were octopus and were very chewy like rubber, felt like eating deep fried gum. My fish was very bland and my friend’s risotto rice was still hard while the peas in it were uncooked. Great ingredients, seemed fresh, just poor execution. No grudge against the owners and lovely place, but good lord, please make better tasting food.

Service was decent, atmosphere is pretty nice, but the food here is incredibly mid. No idea how this place has such a high rating. Food quality was poor, everything either tasteless or overloaded with salt, most of the seafood is not local, and the price tag is thru the roof. I hate leaving bad reviews but It’s just not right what they’re doing here.
*EDIT: Replying to manager Blane* Blane, we sent back 2/3rds of our food. Nobody came over to ask anything. Were we supposed to ask to speak to a manager in addition to sending 2/3rds of our food back? Was it not obvious that things weren’t going well? Please. Thanks for the invitation, but I’ve had enough. Good luck.

We were really looking forward to our dinner here as a large group, and things started off on a high note—the parking attendant and hostess were both friendly and welcoming, which gave us a great first impression. Unfortunately, the service from our server quickly changed the tone of the evening.
She was very unprofessional and lacked even basic customer service skills, which was surprising given the upscale nature of the restaurant. Not friendly. We had empty glasses for over 30 minutes, and she never once checked in on us during that time. This was frustrating given the size of our group she would automatically receive a 20% tip, and she treated us just that way. Extremely disappointing.
The only reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is because the food itself was excellent, and everyone at the table enjoyed their meal.
Sat at the bar for drinks and appetizers. Wonderful atmosphere and kind staff. Food was delicious. The antipasto was so great with quality ingredients. Meatballs are so good!

We recently hosted our son’s wedding rehearsal dinner at The West End! It was truly magical! The food was imaginative and delicious! The flourless chocolate was the perfect ending! Carolyn and her event staff were attentive to every detail of the decor lending their expertise to creating a soft, beautiful environment! The staff was friendly, attentive and very accommodating during every part of the meal from passed appetizers through dessert! We could not have asked for more! Now we can’t wait to come back with our family for a ‘relaxing’ dinner! Thank you all!
