I had the absolute worst experience EVER with Tropical Smoothie today. Mind you, I’m there several times a week, it’s my favorite food to get on the go. Today i’m home sick, I figured I’d treat myself to some of my favorite food and decide to order delivery through the app. First mistake. I got my favorite smoothie and a quesadilla. They send a third party doordash driver to drop off the food. Only the quesadilla comes. I’m upset. So I text the driver. Apparently, they never gave him my smoothie. So I call the store (which, by the way, is the ONLY way to get order problems resolved, i would’ve been much better off just spending the extra $4 on doordash). Apparently it was the drivers fault. So who’s lying??? They didn’t even offer to help me with getting a new order or a refund. So i call them back. The girl on the phone is like “oh yeah i can definitely help you out, let me take your number and grab my manager!” Hangs up. Not even joking. So now i’m extremely upset. Finally, I suck it up and order ANOTHER SMOOTHIE (on doordash this time) FOR 20 DOLLARS. THEY DIDN’T EVEN GIVE ME A STRAW. Finally sit down an HOUR AND A HALF LATER to eat my (now cold) quesadilla. And you won’t believe. They didn’t even include the SAUCE. I try so hard to have grace with food service workers, but this is next level pathetic, scammy, and negligent. Me and tropical smoothie will be taking a break for the time being. And they better refund this entire thing. I just wanted dinner while i’m sick. I’d be happy to revise this review once this all gets resolved, I truly do order food from here a lot.

The cafe was generally dirty and not well kept. My acai bowl came with Nutella which I did not order. However, overall it was fine. My partner ordered a sunrise sunset smoothie and it was extremely sour and turned his stomach. Staff were not the best. When I asked questions about ingredients, they just walked away and let the manager take over without telling me what was happening. The manager was helpful when we wanted a refund for the smoothie.

Absolutely amazing! Try Peanut butter paradise smoothie and add white chocolate, best thing ever, my fav place for smothie in the Cape by far. The açai is good.
I ordered a delivery online and spent $55 with my $5 reward, but I got burger king delivered instead, the dasher wouldn't answer, call tropical cafe they said I had to call uber it was out of their hands once it leaves the store, called uber they couldn't find my order, it wasn't even uber it was door dash so they directed me to the wrong place, called door dash after 30 minutes between all the phone calls they say they can't send a new delivery and I had to talk to tropical about a refund, that's crazy because they had told me to call the delivery service well tropical said they will put it through to their manager so let's see if it happens, I'll be so angry if $55 went in the trash I'll probably never order from them again after this unfortunately
