We went there for the bar menu - a little lighter fare on a hot night. The place was quite empty. They said we could only order from that menu if we sat at the bar. Those seats were too difficult for my elderly husband. After a while, they agreed to let us sit at a table just outside the bar and order from that menu. It was a bit like pulling teeth but eventually customer service won out.

I had linguine with clams. Superb sauce. Lots of garlic and clam flavor in the sauce. Linguine was al dente. Server was charming woman from Italy, who was attentive but not fauning. The restuarant is in a home from the late 1700s. So lots of historical feeling. Overall excellent.

Had a reservation for 7:15pm & were sat promptly. We ordered calamari for an appetizer which was way over cooked-making it chewy& unable to cut. Our entrees came out well over 40minutes after we had the calamari removed from the table (&the bill). Entrees were good but not worth the wait. My grandmothers side of broccoli came out last, after she was almost done with her salmon. Wouldn't recommend to a friend.

I have had dinner at Villaggio many times with friends. The food, service and experience are always on point. I am a big fan and look forward to my next visit.

Last night we went to dinner for my grandson's birthday. There were 7 guests at our table. Tim, our waiter, welcomed us warmly and continued to make our celebration fabulous for the rest of the evening. He was very knowledgeable and skillfully served us throughout our dinner. The food was outstanding. We ordered a variety of appetizers and entrees including the elk, a filet, 3 different veal entrees and the seafood zingarella for the birthday boy. All beautifully presented and delicious. The portions are large so we can enjoy some of them again today. Even though we were stuffed, we also had dessert. Cannoli, limoncello cake, tiramisu and chocolate “molten “ cake. We definitely cleaned those plates. We were the last party in the restaurant but were never rushed or made uncomfortable. Tim made an espresso martini and a coffee drink as well( the bartender had gone home sick). I must say that we could not have had a better time. Our family had gotten together from 3 states to celebrate this birthday. We picked the right place for sure. A totally enjoyable experience. Both food and service were top notch. Thank you to Villagio Prime and Tim in particular for making it a memorable experience.

We had an early reservation on a Saturday night, so the restaurant was fairly empty and therefore quite quiet. It was beginning to fill up by the time we left at 6:30 but still was not at all noisy. The venue is an old inn and was very nicely decorated. At the entry hall is a display case filled with old nutcrackers which was fun to view while we waited a few minutes for the hostess. The food was excellent, and we first enjoyed the fried calamari which was among the best we have had. The bread served was very fresh and delicious and served very warm with an accompanying olive oil with garlic pieces and peppers that was a special enhancement. Our main meals were the pancetta scallop dish and the chicken piccata, both generous portions with excellent pasta accompaniments. We also enjoyed the Limoncello cake with vanilla gelato for dessert. No part of the meal was a disappointment. The service was also first rate, and we appreciated that our server checked with us on a few occasions to see if we needed anything. I wish more waitstaff were as efficient. We will definitely be returning sometime in the summer when we are back on the Cape.

This visit was for a birthday and it was wonderful. The table was set up with decorations when we arrived and they greeted us with smiles and energy. Our waiter, Tim, was once again awesome. His attention to details and suggestions for pairings was superb. Our filet mignon was cooked to perfection and was tender and juicy. Desserts were out of this world. Again, a wonderful experience!

We dined at Villaggio to celebrate our wedding anniversary recently and it was a wonderful experience. Our waiter, Tim, went out of his way to make the evening special. In making the reservation, we noted that it was a special occasion and requested a nice table, since it was our first time dining there. We were seated in a small room with only a few other guests. The waiter had decorated our table with silver foil hearts and a handmade sign wishing us a happy anniversary. A genuinely nice touch! Tim described the specials and mentioned which ones were favored by him and his wife, giving it a personal touch. My husband and I decided to share the Caesar Insalata and each ordered the Saltimbocca Vitello, accompanied by a bottle of Super Tuscan red wine (Sangiovese). Our meals were plentiful and delicious. Because we could not finish our dinners, we passed on ordering dessert, although the selections were very appealing. Lo and behold, with compliments from our waiter, we were given a piece of chocolate layer cake (with a candle) boxed to bring home. We decided to walk through the other areas of the restaurant as we exited and noticed the rooms looked inviting and comfortable. We intend to return and will recommend Villaggio to our friends for their special occasions.

We were able to catch up with an old friend on our 12th Anniversary this evening. Our Server Tim took great care of us tonight just as he did on our first Anniversary dinner. He made our night special then and he has done it many times since when we are lucky enough to have our anniversary on a night he is working. He was there when we brought our 3 month old daughter in for our Anniversary when we were too nervous to leave her at home. He's always a delight, and is one of the best at his craft. The food and wine selection has always been amazing! We have tried many different menu items, and have never been disappointed! Year after year we always leave incredibly impressed with our entire experience! We don't go just on our anniversary, but it is truly a special night when we do!

We had a lovely dinner on a quiet rainy evening! Our food was exceptional (steak, scallops, chowder, tiramisu), and we appreciated the good service provided by our waiter Tim. We enjoyed chatting with him, a long-time Cape-Codder!

Everyone loved the food. We did the pris fixe special which for some reason they do not advertise on their web site, but it's quite a good deal. We had a long family conversation and though we were the last ones to leave they did not rush us out, and were more than patient. Service was great.

Much quieter mid week. Cozy table in front of the gas fireplace. Generous portions of yummy food, which I love to take a doggie bag home for another meal!
