Our waiter was not only an excellent waiter, but extremely humorous with the guests. He had a way of teasing and joking with you that is a rare find. The food was truly spectacular. Yes, it costs a few dollars more than decent restaurants but this is steps above decent. My son had elk steak and it was delicious. Tender with lots of flavor without the fat. I had Seafood Zingarella. Amazing combination of flavors. One of the best dishes of its type I've ever enjoyed Just go there !
We had an exceptional experience at Villaggio last Wednesday evening. Our waiter, Tim, was helpful, humorous and attentive (without being too attentive!). The food was delicious and plentiful. We ate in one of the small intimate rooms where we were the only diners. I would highly recommend!

I've been really interested in trying this place for years and unfortunately it fell flat. Ordered two appetizers and one was a hit (crispy pork belly), and the other was a miss (stuffed pepper). From the drinks to our meals, the service was painfully slow. I'm not sure if it was understaffed, but it certainly did not appear to be busy. They were out of a few of their prime cuts of steak, which seemed odd since it is supposed to be one of their featured menu items. On a positive note, the ambiance was excellent and the entree portions were enormous. Prices were appropriate for the menu and I would likely give it another chance. Hoping the second time around meets expectations.
We came for our anniversary dinner and at first had a lovely time. Our table was decorated and we got our drinks promptly. We were disappointed that there wasn't risotto or steak that my husband wanted to order but we made the most of it. Our server was friendly but very aggressive with how he spoke and took the orders. It was a little off putting. Our food was ok. The scallop pasta dish I ordered had minimal scallops and the pasta was way too lemony. My husbands' scalloped potatoes were ok but chunky and not amazing. He did love the filet mingon he ordered though. Once we received our food our server didn't come back for an extensive amount of time. We had to wait on him to return most of the night. I was disappointed overall with our experience both food and service.
We didn't get our appetizers until an Hr and 45 min after we sat down at which point they informed us that they were down 2 line cooks and there was only one chef. Then my wife's chicken Marsala came after we had been there for 2 and a half hours and the chicken was raw and not cooked. They took it back for 10 min and then the chef came running out with it and dropped it in front of her without saying anything. At that point we asked for the check and left. They comped my wife's meal which she didn't eat but nothing else. We paid over $125, sat there for over 2.5 hrs and one of us didn't even get a meal.
This is our go to restaurant for special occasions and it did not disappoint. Kudos to the chef and our exceptional server.
We've been a few times within the last two months and the food and service is excellent. It's a cozy historic style inn atmosphere. The bar is comfortable and friendly. If you want Italian, seafood or steak it's the place to go.
A really charming 1780's house turned into a restaurant and tavern. Little private dining rooms, we were seated in front of a fireplace, which wasn't on given it is August! The food was delicious as were the drinks. Dessert was also delicious. We split bananas foster and a large slice of chocolate cake. Would definitely go here again
Jack provided excellent service. Terrific food, lovely setting. We will be back! Thank you.
Our entire experience was awesome! The food was top notch, the chef came out and introduced himself and our waiter Tim made our dinner so enjoyable. Tim was so funny and on his game. We will be back for sure!

We went there for the bar menu - a little lighter fare on a hot night. The place was quite empty. They said we could only order from that menu if we sat at the bar. Those seats were too difficult for my elderly husband. After a while, they agreed to let us sit at a table just outside the bar and order from that menu. It was a bit like pulling teeth but eventually customer service won out.
I had linguine with clams. Superb sauce. Lots of garlic and clam flavor in the sauce. Linguine was al dente. Server was charming woman from Italy, who was attentive but not fauning. The restuarant is in a home from the late 1700s. So lots of historical feeling. Overall excellent.
Had a reservation for 7:15pm & were sat promptly. We ordered calamari for an appetizer which was way over cooked-making it chewy& unable to cut. Our entrees came out well over 40minutes after we had the calamari removed from the table (&the bill). Entrees were good but not worth the wait. My grandmothers side of broccoli came out last, after she was almost done with her salmon. Wouldn't recommend to a friend.
I have had dinner at Villaggio many times with friends. The food, service and experience are always on point. I am a big fan and look forward to my next visit.
Last night we went to dinner for my grandson's birthday. There were 7 guests at our table. Tim, our waiter, welcomed us warmly and continued to make our celebration fabulous for the rest of the evening. He was very knowledgeable and skillfully served us throughout our dinner. The food was outstanding. We ordered a variety of appetizers and entrees including the elk, a filet, 3 different veal entrees and the seafood zingarella for the birthday boy. All beautifully presented and delicious. The portions are large so we can enjoy some of them again today. Even though we were stuffed, we also had dessert. Cannoli, limoncello cake, tiramisu and chocolate “molten “ cake. We definitely cleaned those plates. We were the last party in the restaurant but were never rushed or made uncomfortable. Tim made an espresso martini and a coffee drink as well( the bartender had gone home sick). I must say that we could not have had a better time. Our family had gotten together from 3 states to celebrate this birthday. We picked the right place for sure. A totally enjoyable experience. Both food and service were top notch. Thank you to Villagio Prime and Tim in particular for making it a memorable experience.
