Villaggio was very nice. The food good on a whole. There was a noisy party/group upstairs. Last time my husband and I ate here it was very quiet, Beware of the appetizer “crispy pork belly bites” that was very fatty and not crispy at all. Overall the decor is charming

The ambience is welcoming and unique, our server, Connor, was absolutely fantastic, and Chef J cooked delicious calamari and veal and chicken parmigiana, and the salad was great! The portions of the app, salad, and meals were amazing! Three of us shared the app and salad, and we all brought home leftovers of our parmigiana meals. The desserts were also delicious. Can’t wait to go back!

I am amending my review after getting a direct call from Chef Jay regarding our negative feedback. I am super impressed at his professionalism and care in calling individual Yelp reviewers - so, thumbs up there! Our server did not inform us that the Chef made a new dish based on our feedback, and we would have appreciated that gesture if we had known it was coming. We had unfortunately paid the bill and were eager to head elsewhere by the time everything had been cleared. I stand by my review that the service was not up to par, and the atmosphere + our food wasn't what we had hoped for on this visit. However, after this call, give it a shot and make your own assessment!

A Cold and Quiet Sunday night at Villaggio. Connor was an extremely pleasant and likable waiter who would be a great guy to talk fishing at a party. The food was served on time and not rushed. (Who wants to be rushed on a 'Date Night'? The portions were ginormous and worthy of a second dinner to take home and enjoy. The presentation on one plate with the Orchid was beautiful and unexpected! Dinners at the Cape in the Winter are more special when you have the opportunity to "Connect" with each other and others over great food. Thank you!

The food was average, not outstanding considering the price. The overall value was less than average. The waiter was excellent and the ambiance was great. There are many restaurants in the area that provide much better food at a lower price. In terms of the value offered, I would place your restaurant in the lower ten percent.

I had dinner with a few friends last night at Villaggio's. The hostess was rude as she seated us. Our waitress was a bit better but overwhelmed without a doubt. Waited a good ten minutes for water and another ten to see if we would like cocktails. Bread dropped on the table. Our dinners were delicious but Unfortunately, I will not return.. They need more staff that is trained to serve their clients.

Food excellent, service very good, Cold air from front door every time it was opened was very bad. It chilled everyone. Had to wear a coat for a while till heat turned up higher and door not opened as much.

Believe every NEGATIVE review. The food looked like it was scraped off from someone else's plate. Who serves angel hair pasta cut up in little pieces along with a cold, flat piece of chicken. DISGUSTING.

This used to be the regatta. It was heralded. Now it is just so so. I'd say maybe 3.5 stars. Service was VERY slow. Food is ok, some good, some mediocre. For the cost, I'd say not worth it. We drove about 40 min to have dinner. Reservation at 6:45, didn't get out til 945 or 10. And the place wasn't even full. Also had weird soap operas playing on TV in the dining room. Weird for nightime, in a (supposedly) upscale place. Maybe if you know what food is good, and you sit at the bar, it's worth it. But at this point, I wouldn't go back. I've had way better experiences at "lesser" establishments.

We had a phenomenal experience at Villaggio's Prime! Tim made our first time there an experience. He took note of it being our anniversary and we appreciated that, and the complimentary dessert. The food was outstanding, and piping hot! Having drove 1.5 hours on a recommendation, we were very happy with our evening. Definitely recommend Villaggio's Prime.

Too many decorations! They are trying to be a pub and fine dining?! They should stick with fine dining and eliminate the TV's in the dining areas!!

My girlfriend and I and another couple went there for New Year's Eve. I had the chicken Parm which was delish, but when I asked to have it Fra Diavlo the waitress answered no way we are short only have 3 people in the kitchen tonight. It wasn't the fact that they were short that upset me,it was the way she said it. Drinks took forever and they were out of just about every dessert. Oh and asked if we wanted cheese which we replied yes but she never came back with it and forgot to bring coffee to my friend's wife after she ordered it. I NEVER usually complain about service but she was awful and should probably take a vacation or change professions.

The food was excellent. The only issue was the singer/guitar player during dinner. I did a google search for a "romantic" venue. The music certainly detracted from the ambience of the room. Would have been better with a more subdued performer.

It is possible that they were understaffed and it was a Saturday night. The waitress brought me the wrong dish. We had already waited some for the mains to come so I didn't complain. Waitress asked all the other tables if they wanted still or sparkling but just brought us tap water without asking.
