After having poor service and/or cold food, three times in a row, we have decided not to return. on Friday. Oct 24th, we sat at the bar. and waited at least half an hour for our food while the bartender didn't so much as glance at us. he was too busy chatting. our business isn't important enough. we will ho elsewhere

Waitress was so attentive and knew her seafood and all. Her recommendations were superb! Door was scrumptious and the quahog Chowder was absolutely delicious.

Had the chicken Marsala. I've been going there for 60 years and this is one of the few bad meals I've had. It was almost tasteless with very little sauce. I've had chicken Marsala there dozens of times, even when it was not on the menu, and it was always my favorite. But it recently changed and it's not the same and not the same cook. Doesn't even look the same with a darker sauce. Sadly, I won't order it again. Caesar salad was great and friend's baked fish meal was very good.

Tavern has great vibes and Trisha, our server, was attentive and efficient. Both the burger and seafood fra Diavolo were 5 out of 5 amazing!

Bro just don't go steak bites where so bland no flavor and they cooked it way to rare

Bro how is there one!!!!! Steak left like in a whole restaurant one steak and they where out the samlon pesto pasta and who really likes paper staws

Slow service waiter (Al) never asked our group of eight if anyone wanted another cocktail 6 out of the 8 would have ordered another one. I ordered the Atlantic salmon with lemon bur Blanc it came minus the bur blanc. The portion were small and this comes from the past knowledge of visits to Wimpys. We were all excited for this dinner and were dissatisfied!

Hostess was very nice Waiter (Brazilian) EXCELLENT Cheeseburger excellent Chicken Parm & Pasta very good Quahog great Stuffed Shrimp very good OVERALL, an unexpectedly good experience!

A group of us met to celebrate two birthdays. That particular night we saw a very large group starting to meet in another room some of which arrived after us. We did have reservations and Brianna our waitress (who most of us remembered from prior visits) was kind enough to place our orders quickly as many of us wanted prime rib before they ran out. After quite some time Brianna came and informed us that the kitchen had not even started our orders and we thanked her for letting us know and we said we could wait. Shortly after that the manager came to apologize and offered us drinks on the house. Once we got our meals everyone was delighted and yes they still had prime rib cooked the way we each of us wanted. We were all understanding how the kitchen had been slammed. Once we got the bill we were surprised how generous they were after recognizing their shortcomings regarding the kitchen being so late. They did not have to do that, and I think most restaurants would not have been so kind. I am glad to see that Wimpy's is rated #2 in the area but I will continue to rate them #1.

First time here! Adorable tavern side of the restaurant. I ordered Quahog, and surf and turf for the dinner. Also an AMAZING tequila with prickly pear, called the Salty Hostess. So flavorful.
The service was outstanding, we were seated Instantly (sat night of labor day weekend!). Our server, Trisha, was friendly and attentive and did a wonderful job.
The Quahog was simply the BEST I have ever had. So much better than 2 other places in Mashpee and Catamount. It was flavorful, didn't have too much breading and was hot and fresh and moist.
The surf and turf was also amazing! 5 stars for the chef, Vinnie! Thank you!

Been going to Wimpy’s for years - yes, the change of ownership saw the menu updated. The food is good and there are still some of the old favorites on the menu. What i can’t understand is their new take on bacon wrapped scollops — a few bacon bits on top of scallops is not close to the wrapping of bacon around the scallop. Thankfully our waiter explained this change (and showed us a picture) as we were ordering… we decided against.
