After having poor service and/or cold food, three times in a row, we have decided not to return. on Friday. Oct 24th, we sat at the bar. and waited at least half an hour for our food while the bartender didn't so much as glance at us. he was too busy chatting. our business isn't important enough. we will ho elsewhere
Had the chicken Marsala. I've been going there for 60 years and this is one of the few bad meals I've had. It was almost tasteless with very little sauce. I've had chicken Marsala there dozens of times, even when it was not on the menu, and it was always my favorite. But it recently changed and it's not the same and not the same cook. First time here! Adorable tavern side of the restaurant. I ordered Quahog, and surf and turf for the dinner. Also an AMAZING tequila with prickly pear, called the Salty Hostess. So flavorful.
The service was outstanding, we were seated Instantly (sat night of labor day weekend!). Our server, Trisha, was friendly and attentive and did a wonderful job.
The Quahog was simply the BEST I have ever had. So much better than 2 other places in Mashpee and Catamount....
