Oh man there’s a special place in my heart for Dream Away Lodge. I visited a couple times as camp counselor in the summer of 2010 and I’ve never forgotten it. Unfortunately it seems to be closed seasonally, so next time I go to the Berkshires I’ll have to make sure Dream Away will be open! Bummed to not have been able to go during my trip this past week.

Amazing place... fond memories.... Haven't been there in a few years... and had many visits when I lived in the Berkshires. An absolute must experience for those passing through and those seeking something new.

Food was good. Service wasn't. Hopefully while they're closed for the winter, they'll do some deep cleaning.

This place reminds me of my hippy friends in college if they ran a restaurant and were tripping the whole time. Pure chaos. We made a reservation and never even sat at our table because apparently no one had any intention of clearing/setting it after the previous group left. They also forgot to mention over the phone that the table was basically a bench next to the entrance/service bar.Would definitely go back for vibes if I was tripping. Not as fun to be someone trying to have a nice dinner.

What's to say that the Boston Globe and NYT hasn't already said? Great cocktail menu. Lovely to hang out by the fire pit. great rotation of music - mainly indie/folk/americana.

Really cool spot! Amazing food and service, and a cozy atmosphere. They have some really unique décor and furniture in here, making for a very eclectic look. Our waitress told us a little about the history of this place. Lots of cool stories, and lots of character, def check it out!!

First time back at Dream Away Lodge and very happy to see that they didn’t change the decor or the vibe. The menu is still small although they do have two veggie main options. I had the miso tofu and it was divine. My husband loved his special seafood chowder though the appetizer bread was a miss. My parents had burgers because the pork main they wanted was already out when we ordered at 6:45! My hibiscus margarita was delish. Service was good. I hope they expand the menu especially with more vegetarian and seafood options but am so glad they are back!

Loved the new super friendly Dreamaway. Menu was delicious. Wait service very knowledgeable. Iceberg Wedge, Jicama Salad, and Cannelloni dip. The Chicken Marbella and Vegetarian Curry both winners and had an excellent fish dish special on a 2nd visit. We were worried when new owners came in this year. No worries, we will be regulars again.

Hitting their stride. The new owners are delivering special treats and continually refining this magical place. Their new chef, Amillie, is knocking it out of the park with new culinary creations that are delicious and unique. I popped in to try first-hand her new menu and got to experience her daily special made with haddock and shrimp. It was a delightful treat on many levels. The food, service, entertainment, and atmosphere was top notch. I'm excited to go back and experience more.

Dream Away is the perfect name. Even though service was spotty on a super busy night, I have to give five stars for magic.
