Of the options available at Jacobs Pillow, this little cafe had a delicious blue cheese salad and tasty flat bread pizza. Very personable service, waiter+chef one-man show while we were there. Nothing fancy and overpriced, food-wise, but no more than I'd expect at any performance space (stadiums, concerts, etc), and there was an elegant flair to the cafe. Had a couple nice glasses of wine to pair.

It great to have lunch and attend a performance. The food is meh. The location is what this restaurant is all about.

Horrible food. How does this have 5 stars? Flatbread was inedible. Between my husband and me we were only able to eat half. Breading on chicken tenders was good but chicken was not. Husband disliked his burger. Servers were SO nice, though.

Lobster roll tasted good but for lobster in season it was way overpriced for small quantity Service was pleasant but our server tended to disappear and did not check in with us Pleasant but I still think you've got work to do

We've eaten at the Cafe a few times in past seasons, and the food was so much better. The menu right now is rather limited. Food portions were very small for the prices being charged; not a great value. Thank goodness for the good bread basket. We had the salmon dish and the airline chicken dish. Both were uninspired; the salmon was boring, only helped by the maple dressing on the brussel sprouts. The mocktails were fine. Our server was very attentive however.

Perfect place for dinner before or after a Jacob's Pillow event. Varied menu with carefully prepared food.

We are at the Pillow Cafe prior to a performance at Jacob's Pillow. You can't beat the location—very close to the theater. And it makes for a fun evening. The seating was spacious enough and the staff was very accommodating. The cocktails were good and they had a “special” to highlight the evening's performance. The food was good—everyone in our party liked their entree. We also ordered the charcuterie plate for a starter and it easily served the 4 of us. All in all, it was a very nice dining experience!

Excellent pre-theater dinner choice on the campus of Jacob's Pillow. Menu choices are minimal but varied and tasty. Everything we ordered was very good. Service was excellent.

The cafe is vastly understaffed, either front-of-house or in the kitchen, or both. (I know this is pretty much a universal problem these days.) We had a 6:15 reservation and our entrees finally arrived around 7:30. We basically had to inhale our dinners (which were lukewarm by the time they reached the table) so we could get to our seats before the performance began. Thank god we asked for the check when the entrees arrived...

The food was really mediocre (Caesar salad, mushroom pasta and fried onions) and the menu was very limited. It was convenient for all the pre performance experiences.

Apps and drinks were very nice But entrees were expensive and not very good Meat /fish quality not very good It seemed like the steak and fish were not freshly grilled but warmed up Unfortunately because of the cost and quality we will not be back for dinner We would return for drinks/apps Thank you!

Pillow Cafe was a great choice for our pre- show dinner. The food and service were both excellent and they have a wonderful selection of mocktails. We only had 1 hr 15 mn before our show but with prompt service there was plenty of time to order and enjoy our meal without feeling like we had to rush. We'll make this a regular part of our Pillow evenings from now on!

Because we were asked if it was a special evening, we said yes, birthday and college sendoff, and then nothing happened. So if they don't do anything, why ask? The food was tasty, but appetizers and enteees arrived together, except for the soup which was forgotten, then brought, and then it was about 5 spoonfuls for $12 ... so not great. The drinks were unimpressive.

Service was very slow, so we were unable to go to the Pillow talk that happens before the performance at 2:00 pm. I had originally made a noon reservation, but it was changed to 12:30 because I added one more person to our group. There were plenty of open tables at noon... not sure why it was changed to a half hour later...

I happily believed Jacob's Pillow had revived its Sunday brunches. Much to my disappointment what was available was a high priced lunch. I had tried to look at the menu before I came but it was not available online. Your brunches had always been a special treat. At least add a few brunch dishes (eg eggs, French toast, etc) to the menu.
