Bamboo offers authentic Chinese food, with some dishes tasting off. The scallion pancakes and miso soup were subpar, but the shrimp/veggie tempura was good. The restaurant is a bit pricey compared to local places, but the quality of food is worth it. They also have a superb lunch buffet, which has been praised for its freshness and variety, including rice, noodles, chicken dishes, and sushi. The staff is generally friendly and attentive, creating a relaxing atmosphere with no rush. The function room is well set up and perfect for family reunions, with the waitstaff being patient with children. Customers have noted that the mixed drinks, especially the White Mai Tai, are amazing. However, some have experienced issues such as dirty silverware and glasses, as well as discrepancies with the drink menu. One recent visit highlighted poor service, with a rude server rushing customers and closing the restaurant early, which disappointed diners. Despite these concerns, Bamboo remains one of the better Pan Asian restaurants in the state.
