Have not been there in a while, stopped in last weekend, it took a lonnnnnng time to get your meal, this is breakfast, seems like they make one plate at a time. I am a server, I watched our server, instead of getting the food she would bring a plate then stop and clear a table, wait on another table then go get the rest of our food. This is ridiculous. Their food is delicious, which is why I do go back, but the wait times since after COVID is just obsurd. There use to be the same three to four woman in the kitchen for many many years that would get the food out fast, now I see newer people, (except the woman in the window) they need to get up to speed.

I dont think I've ever waited so long for breakfast. 30 mins for pancakes and eggs. They only serve water bottled, so wasnt that thrilled to pay for it. Also, sat at the bar but wasnt greeted for quite a bit and had to ask for silverware. All in all, not a place I'll return.

Stopped in for lunch. First time there. The waitress had such nice dark hair and eyes. I had a coffee and ordered an egg salad sandwich on whole wheat. It took a while, but it was delicious -- I had the impression that they had made the egg salad to order. I was feeling great about it. Got the bill, and was disturbed by its being higher than expected. Asked the waitress, and she pointed to a little line on the page opposite the lunch menu that indicated a one-dollar surcharge for whole wheat bread. The price would have still been reasonable if they'd just marked it clearly, but this felt like an underhanded trick. Still, I'd go back, even if with a certain trepidation after writing this review!

It's great food if you have no teeth, aside from the home fries that were clearly unturned while cooked. I think everything in my veggie omelet was boiled.
adorable, small town family owned vibe. DELICIOUS FOOD. Home cooked, clean, real butter. Real food. Affordable. Cozy. Highly recommend.

my girlfriend and i have stopped going here, even though it’s our local breakfast joint. the customer base is of a very clear demographic and as a queer couple, we get a lot of uncomfortable stares (mostly from other patrons). but if you love your bacon and eggs with a side of slight homophobia, this is the place for you!
