On June 29th, around 5 p.m., my mother left her home to enjoy dinner with her grandson.
She choked on a piece of steak — and she died.
She never made it back home.
What hurts even more is what happened afterward:
Nothing.
No one from your restaurant reached out.
Even after my friend visited and left his number while asking about her belongings —
no one called. No message. No acknowledgement.
The silence was painful.
