I have visited Maks-Bellingham on and off over the years and the food and service have always been great. My trip today was a different experience. I entered and waited at the counter to order a couple sandwiches. There were 2 employees working. One making a sandwich the other chatting with him. After a few moments, I proceeded to grab some chips, waited a bit more then grabbed a drink. At no time did either of the 2 workers acknowledge my presence even to say be right with you. I waited a bit longer and watched as the 2 workers chatted some more waiting for someone to make eye contact with me. Then one went off to do something else. At that point, I put my chips and drink back and walked out. The one noticeable difference this trip vs my previous visits was the absence of the nice lady that usually works the counter and takes the orders. These 2 guys are going to cost Maks some business.

The roast beef sandwiches are great here! Piled high, and tasty. So many places have increased prices and reduced on quality and quantity of their food options after the pandemic, but Mak's has not. Well worth the roast beef!

Roast Beef sandwich was excellent - warm, juicy, and very tender cooked a little past medium rare so was simply perfect. Service was prompt and friendly. Will be back soon!

I don’t even know where to begin, tonight I ordered Mak’s Roast beef the food was good but the service was unheard of, after I ordered I went to go get the mail it was around 5 pm so it was dark and a slipped on black ice in my driveway I couldn’t move and my leg was almost at a 90 degree angle. I was hopeless not knowing how long I would be stuck there then all of a sudden I see a blue car with a Mak’s Roast Beef sign on it a young man by the name Brennan I believe he saved my life. He jumped out of his car seeing the pain I was in he carried me into my house brought the food in cut up my sandwich and feed it to me while icing my leg. After I was about halfway done eating I told him he could go, I knew he had to go back to work. What a great young man.(The super beer is good, fries where a little to crispy although I did ask for well done)

Italian sub bread was partially frozen and stale. Close the doors this restaurant is terrible. Nice people tho but food was unacceptable.
Delicious hidden menu item is actually so good that it should be on the menu. American cheese, green peppers, mushrooms, onions, broccoli, and pastrami wrap w/ mustard ?

I always get a steak and cheese on a wrap with extra cheese it's sooooo good. All of their subs are good and the steak dinners are Fire!

Got 2 roast beef sandwiches. Apart from not being made the way I asked they were absolutely the worst roast beef sandwich I ever had. They were so warm and soggy and had a bitter taste. I wouldn't recommend it. Maybe the other stuff is good.
