Delicious chowders, especially the seafood chowder that has lobster, shrimp, fish, clam and is soooo good! They have daily lunch specials and food for the non seafood loving population. Awesome chili cheese dogs! Huge ice cream selection. Classic drinks like a raspberry lime rickey or root beer floats. Restaurant is always clean. The staff is friendly. You can pay with a card but bring cash to tip. Those behind the counter work hard. Especially the ice cream scooping, multitasking, order taking and grabbing counter staff. Kitchen has always been consistent for the years I've been going. Indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely recommend!

Insane price increases this year. I got takeout tonight and ordered a shrimp and scallop combo plate and a medium side of fried shrimp and it came to almost $64. They charged $38 (including a $3 up-charge for scallops) for a shrimp and scallop plate. Their online menu says $19.95 for a shrimp plate and $28.00 for a scallop plate… yet mix the two together half and half and it’s somehow $38? Also, there was about 8-9 scallops and maybe 10-11 shrimp in the combo plate. The girl at the register said they increased their prices and it’s not reflected online yet. Welp Rosewood, longtime customer here, but I think tonight’s dinner will be my last with you at those prices. It was a good run.

I grew up eating at this restaurant. all I can say is the food is great as well as the ice cream. But as for ever the cost is high but you can share the plates because one is enough for two people.
I have been searching for big belly clams. I found them!! Thank you for having fresh, big, whole belly clams. We got the plates with onion rings and fries. It was amazing and there was just so much food!
