I was here last night and got unagi, spicy salmon, and california. It was awesome! Those are the only things I have had there so far but I plan on getting noodles and terriaki at some point meaning I'll go back multiple times. Great people working there and nice atmosphere. The second time we were there they remembered us after a month. All food was great and suggest it to anyone. Love it! =)
Still consistently the best shushi I experienced. Moist with a clear definition of which fish is melting in your mouth. Simple. Gorgeous. Even something apparently as trivial as the Mizo soup is a bit special at this place. Only pickup. ETA for orders improved a lot over the years.
Gen Sushi is a neighborhood favorite, serving high-quality sushi with larger pieces of fish. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the early 4 PM opening time is a plus. This tiny spot offers excellent, fresh sushi for takeout, with standout dishes like the Black Pearl Roll and Shrimp Shumi, all without compromising on quality.
