This place is falling down. This used to be good. But now the place is dirty and they don't seem to care anymore. The food wasn't as good as it used to be. I am never returning back.
What happened?? This used to be the only place we'd go for Indian takeout. Our experience from last week was SO bad that I'm scared to ever try again. The naan was literally from Trader Joe's (no wonder they said they only have regular or garlic naan!) and the vegetable curry was so vinegary and sour it was inedible. There was also not a single person in the kitchen. Really hoping the old staff comes back and it becomes great again.
Used to be amazing now it's worse than mediocre
This was once the greatest Indian food in the area. It's still not terrible, but they don't seem to care anymore. The menu is filled with crossed out dishes that they once offered but no longer do, but they can't be bothered to print new ones. The decor is fancy, but no longer cleaned very well and the bathrooms look awful. The staff barely seems to care. The food (what they still offer) is good and I hope they can bounce back from whatever funk they are in.
A bit wacky Ngl
It takes talent to prepare food this bad. Stale ingredients and the cheapest meats smothered in indifferently prepared Indian spices sums up our experience. We visited Kashish on mother's day for lunch. The restaurant was totally empty — not a good sign and puzzling because the ambience was rather nice. What followed were dish after dish of disasters. Dry kebab, rubbery chicken tikka masala, poorly executed dal, saag, bhindi... the chutney has gone stale and had to be replaced. The meats were the lowest quality with no hint of freshness.. it appeared that using fresh organic free range chicken or meats was pointedly not on the restaurants priorities.
We rolled in near closing so we ordered something quick. It was good, lovely atmosphere, too
Worst place. Horrible service and food. STAY AWAY!
I've eaten at Kashish a good number of times and have never been disappointed. Their food is always tasty and well-portioned, their prices are reasonable, and they're often open during hours where many other restaurants in the area are closed. Would definitely recommend for fans of Indian food.
Lovely, nicely put-together place yet also low-key atmosphere, yummy food.

Kind staffs and Good interior but foods were average.
Place has gotten progressively worse. I can't imagine it's long for this world.
Looking for a place to have dinner on a Friday night at 9pm, we walked into Kashish. On the door, it said they were open until 10:30pm. The place was empty with just a couple of tables finishing their meals. We were told that it's too late and at this time it's takeout only. So we left... And went to Wellington down the road instead, which was the best decision ever! So if looking for "late" night dinner (if you consider 9pm late), stay away from Kashish.
The restaurant envoriment is awesome! the owner is really kind, and all waitress and workers are really helpful. I love that food, chicken tikka massala is delicious, i certanlly would refer this restaurant for families and friends.
Have only been for lunch, but it has been good every time. Extra spicy chicken Tikka masala is the bomb! Also they have the 'classic' naanwich which is like a burrito with naan.
