Recently moved to Belmont and stumbled upon this place looking for the nearest taco spot since I usually goto El Jefe's in Cambridge and Boston and Chipotle if I'm not in the mood to drive. I'm no taco expert but I've eaten plenty of good and not-so-good tacos and this place is awesome! When a taco place has al pastor, carnitas, Jarrito's, and even tortas (Mexican sandwhiches) and jugo morada then you know the chef/owner is legit. I enjoyed my lunch here. There are tons of taquerias in the Boston area and most of them are the same. This one is a little more fancy inside and has a wider menu. The woman that took my order was very kind and friendly. She even let me order a red & green enchilada because I could not make up my mind between the two flavors. The food was great. I recommend this place if you're in the area.

This place is mostly takeout, not dine-in. We tried to dine in anyway because there were tables and we were ready to eat. The food comes quickly as most TexMex choices share the same building blocks -- and thus the food was mostly already prepared when we ordered. The food was tasty, but not as good as TexMex in Texas.
