“We usually sit at the bar and get immediate service. The bartender last night even remember us from a few months ago. She remembered what we drank. My sister ordered the same as last time and I ordered a slightly dirty Tito’s martini with a special request for bleu cheese stuffed olives. They were perfection! We both ordered the ahi tuna with avocado and jasmine rice. Omg it was to die for. I can’t wait to go back and order it again. I wish I could remember the bartender’s name so I could give her a shout out!!! All it says in the receipt is server: PM.”

“MOTW has the best chai in the city. I love the soft, creamy, silky texture of their Yemeni chai. I love the way they decorated the 38th st location, very inclusive and powerful pictures. Great spot to get some work or reading done. Also love their prayer or meditation area. It’s such a wonderful coffee shop. Usually Raadia is there when we go and she’s such a kind and friendly soul, always so helpful and customer focused.”

“The food was amazing and my husband and I cannot wait to go back. We both had the beef tenderloin which was cooked to prefection with delicious sides to accompany the meal. The bread was mouthwatering and I could not resist a few pieces! We had the arancini to start and next time, I will order my own plate; I wanted more - no sharing again! I had the amazing carrot cake and my husband had the Godive chocolate cheesecake. I am not a cheesecake lover but ended up determined to order it next time; it was amazing and decadent beyond my expectation. Musical, literature, vinyl, and of course a plethora of business cards from various local talents. The workers and even the customers all make you feel wanted in here. “My wife and I took our 3 year old daughter to check out this new coffee shop after it came up in a Google search. Let me say I had not met the couple that owns the shop before today, and yet I have never felt so invested in wanting to see a new shop succeed as much as I did this one! The owners are a lovely young couple, extremely friendly, and accommodating. They love what they do and it shows in the quality of the food. I ordered the Pi (egg sandwich) and a cold brew coffee. Both were excellent. They roast their own coffee beans and it had just the right amount of roasted coffee flavor. There were a dozen other things I wanted to try, including the creme brulee cheescake, the baklava cheese cake, and the Greek pies. My wife got a hot coffee with almond milk, mocha and peppermint. I like my coffee creamy, and this was the first coffee with almond milk that tasted good to me. I have found my new favorite coffee shop in the area. Whatever you're doing, drop it and visit Coffee & Pi now!”

“Absolutely the best N. Y. Sirloin I have ever tasted. It was thick, tender and favorable, served with a chicken-of-the-woods reduction that was perfectly paired with the steak. Reservations are recommended and the place was full within the first hour of operation. It can be a little noisy, but that's to be expected for an restaurant that is as popular as Romaine's. Service was adequate and attentive for the Saturday night crowd”

“I want to give a shout out to Kennedy’s! I had my daughters 16th birthday dinner in the greenhouse! It was fantastic. The area that they transform into a winter wonderland is just amazing. Excellent food, service and atmosphere! It was truly memorable for my daughter!”

“Trombetta’s is both a fan favorite yet somehow still feels like a hidden gem! Best place to bring your toddlers at off hours for mini golf - they let you linger and take your time. My boys can’t get enough of mini golfing with Halloween decorations (and delicious ice cream doesn’t hurt! 🤪). The staff is always incredibly kind and helpful. I’m grateful that places like this still exist ☺️”
