My wife and I have been frequent visitors of 100 Grill for a number of years. Overall, The food has been great and the service outstanding. We typically visit the Berlin location but also used to visit eat at the Maynard location.
Unfortunately recently a couple of recent changes have meant we have stopped going and I'm posting this to encourage the owners to make some changes:
1) Beer... like so many New England restaurants, there is now an assumption that if you don't drink IPA's you must drink Bud lite or something similar. 110 used to carry Stella Artois which at least has more body and flavor but it was taken off. I simply have no beer choices and I enjoy a beer with my meal. At least one European-style pilsner or larger would be appreciated
2) What happened to the flatbreads? They were replaced disgustingly awful (and large) Cauliflower bread pizzas. No thanks! Please can we have traditional bases as an option at least?

Excellent service and great food. Never have a bad experience here. They do a wonderful job catering to my daughters allergies, and the manager always takes the time to stop by and confirm everything was made safely for her.

Don't order a reuben.. for them pork is corn beef. Think they need to go back to school. Never taken off the bill still paid for a meal that is now sitting in the trash. Thanks 110 hudson ma We now remember why we don't come to your restaurant

Food was mediocre. Lunch size portions for dinner prices. The best value was the kids grilled cheese. Lobster rolls were possibly 4 oz for $38. Baked haddock dinner that would feed my 3 year old, not my wife. Server was kind but missed out on asking how our experience was/how food was once it came to table. I mentioned to her that it was my mom’s birthday while ordering dessert and no special arrangements were made (I.e. a candle, a few servers coming over to sing, or even the server wishing a “happy birthday. Manager never visited table just to check in as you see in many other restaurants. They no longer serve bread to the table.
Aside from all of that, which can just be understood to some point why things just didn’t come together- the one unacceptable detail of the whole re restaurant experience was the lack of a changing table in the men’s room. I had to change my baby on a booth in the dining are. Why does the women’s room have a changing table but not the men’s? The floor was no option filled with crumbs, old French fries, etc.
Went in on a Sunday afternoon assuming it may be sightly busy for folks coming in after church services or other activities; it was absolutely dead inside.
The bar was completely desolate with a bartender who seemed less than thrilled to provide us with a drink menu or a Gluten Free menu. I AM aware that their normal menu can be made nearly 100% GF, however — when a customer asks for a dietary menu and is told “it’s the exact same thing as the normal one so can I give you one of those”? The faith in the bartender making sure anything I ordered would be GF, immediately tanked.
Unfortunately we then had to hear the bartender, a manager, and another customer, discussing the recent political situation and attempt made on a former president; this isn’t conversation to be had at a bar with other patrons whom you have no idea how that conversation is affecting those around you. Unprofessional and tacky. We paid for our 2 drinks (that weren’t finished) and quickly left.

Great experience all around. I ordered the pull pork sandwich. It was not only delicious but big enough for two people. My kids swear by the sweet potato fries. We prefer to travel a little further down the street to Berlin as the service is better than other locations.
