This place used to be pretty good, but I visited recently on a quiet Saturday to get some work done and was shocked by the state of it. Every table was covered in crumbs, sticky spots, and coffee stains, the floor looked like it hadn't been swept since the last time I went there in 2023, and even the chairs were covered in crumbs. I wiped my own table and chair while the employees sat around talking and drinking coffee. I got a sandwich and the bread was stale. And I got a small iced tea that cost $5 (which would have been fine, but considering everything else, it added insult to injury). I went to the restroom to wash my hands before I left, and neither restroom had paper towels (and one didn't have toilet paper). Plenty of staff around. Having been in the service industry a long time, I couldn't believe the state of disarray this once lovely cafe was in. Such a shame.
Very nice people, ok coffee, terrible food. Breakfast sandwiches were a real disappointment, looked great, but the egg had been pre-made and had come out of the fridge, it was cold. Avacado toast had salmon mixed in with it.
