I love this place because you can always find a spot and it closes at 6. The staff are friendly BUT…everytime I stay later than 4 they start piling chairs on top of tables. Not that quiet either. That’s 2 hours before closing. I can understand when it’s done 30mins before closing but to see the place where you are hanging piled with chairs on the tables just feels like you’re getting kicked out. Imagine if you were invited to dinner at 5 and by 7 your guest was washing...
The cashier was so rude. I ordered a muffin and she didn’t even ask if I wanted anything else. She rang up the sale and I asked for some butter and knife. She then rudely said “there’s an extra charge for that and you should have asked for butter when you told me what you wanted.” The muffin was delicious but the service was awful. Not to mention that the muffin was almost $4
Good food, good vibes, good staff.... but something is very, very wrong with their workflow. I've waited 30-40 minutes for a sandwich many times, and that's when they aren't even particularly busy. I can't recommend the place as a result; there's no such thing as a quick coffee here.
