We just used Creative catering at the Elks in Gloucester, Ma for a wedding. Now I have attended a lot of weddings across the country and Creative Catering food was amazing. We served Filet, Butternut squash ravioli and stuffed chicken for our main plates. All three choices were cooked and prepared perfectly. The apps we had were amazing and the service they provided was above and beyond any wedding I have gone to. The apps just kept coming and people were raving about the food all night and even the next day. I would use Creative Catering again and they lived up to everything they served and prepared during our tasting.

We had specific linen requests, and they were able to liaise with their vendor to find what would work well based on our requests. The servers were attentive, and professional, and the set-up team quick and on the mark, particularly since the chairs did not get setup prior by another vendor as they were supposed to. Lori and her team made the wedding special, and everyone at the reception really enjoyed the appetizers and meal (Italians will not lie about liking food ?). The catering team also made sure that we had a plate of appetizers to enjoy post-ceremony before joining the party. Lori was wonderful and patient in setting everything up and creating a timeline for us. Absolutely awesome! She made things easy and simple for us to coordinate and understand, when the two of us had no idea what we were doing. The food was excellent! I just wish I’d eaten more of it! But the night of, some details went wrong that soured me a little. Not huge things, but enough that I’ll remember them. Our cider pour never happened. Thankfully, Lori agreed to refund us for that portion, but we had bought special champagne glasses for that purpose and were pretty disappointed that we didn’t get to partake in that portion of the planned meal. Also, we were never asked where we wanted our cupcake tower. Instead, we were suddenly asked if we wanted them to pass the cupcakes out when they brought them out to the table in front of them. We hadn’t even had our cake yet! Our photographer wouldn’t have even been able to snap a photo of our decorated (expensive) cupcakes, had I not had to say in a loud volume across the large room for them to hold off so our photographer could get photos first. They were already starting to hand out the cupcakes. On the upside, they made sure to do a gluten-free dish specifically for my partner, and we were grateful for that.

Creative Catering provided really good food for our wedding! We were not able to splurge on food for our wedding as we chose to prioritize costs elsewhere, and Creative was able to work with us within our budget to get us some delicious meals. Our only complaint from the night: we had asked that the bar staff walk around during cocktail hour with drinks, and they did not do this, which caused the bar line to get incredibly long. Other than that, they did a great job!

We used creative catering for our wedding and they did an amazing job! We had 150 guests with a Buffett dinner. It was perfect, and plenty of food for guests. Our Italian family loves to eat and there was no shortage of anything. So many of our guests said it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had! For appetizers we did the buffalo chicken tenders, mini grilled cheese with tomato soup, and brie/fig tart (people LOVES the tart)! For the Buffett we had steak tips, chicken cordon blue and baked haddock. The haddock was out of this world! Their staff was very responsive before the wedding and during the wedding. It was a pleasure working with Lori, Ann, Chris and staff. We highly recommend!
